many planes here feature full startups and have simulator like features and controls stemming from the cockpit update. but another thing these builds usually feature is a button or such to ignore the startup and such so you can just fly.
would it be too complicated or un-worth it to make builds that require a full startup, and that have simulator like engine and aircraft management?
im making a P-38 currently, and the whole idea around it is that its a simulator, full startup, engine management and such in all aspects.
if you havent guessed, this would be best suited for VR, and thats exactly what im making my p-38 for.
is this too complicated for simpleplanes? or or should i just have my aircraft be normal and classic simpleplanes where theres not simulator like controls?
takes a really long time, I personally am too impulsive to prefer this kind of building *which is unfortunate as I had a couple of those publicly posted about that aren't as fun and still require months of scripting and tedium to get working
Perfectly fine
Id make another version without all the startups though.
My reasoning for this is that there’s still a large group of people who play for looks not for the game they literally paid for.
My only concern with builds like this is performance cost, it’s pretty hard to run this stuff on a mobile phone, which is a large percentile of the community.
Simulator Controls/Features is perfectly worth it
I mean, honestly that sounds really fun! It'll be a lot of work, but I'm sure a lot of people (myself included) would enjoy something like that.
If you don't want to have a "skip" button, I would recommend maybe having an alternative version of the plane without at least the engine management part, for those who are less interested in the more simulation-side of things and just want to fly a cool plane.
