I believe that people should check the new category more. This is because I scroll and look down the new category and some times see great planes that have no upvotes or anything. It's kind of sad that some people work on a plane that looks good and they have 0 points. So please check out the new category to help other people.

I agree that the new page should be visited frequently by all users. However everyone has there own way of being a part of the community. Some(like myself and @Skua ) spend time in the forums and looking for users who need help. Others follow people and upvote all their builds. Then you have those who really try to cover everything. I am one of those who look at everything, every day up to the last post i can remember from the day before. There are others but not enough to make sure builds dont get missed. Something you can do to help is make a post for new users as you find them and hopefully more people will see the amazing builds that get overlooked.

This has been addressed a few times before. I appreciate your concern and trust me. Everyone is trying to dish out the upvotes that the newbies deserve. It's just sometimes some great designs go under the radar without anyone knowing.
