@ToeTips I think you can just upload your edited version, and mention the original creator if you remember his or her name. People leave SP for their own reasons too.

So there's this car I downloaded a while back, I had built a race version of it, so I was looking for the original post to find the user and I can't, they probably banned him or something, do I reupload the original design and upload mine as unlisted? If I do I will specify that it is not mine (in great emphasis).
Setup a WordPress site, post Your images and link them back in your description. Read the forums on this site how to do that. There are lots to learn. Learning Never ends! Welcome to SP
