I've always liked challenges, but they seem to be dying out.
Pretty much just War Challenges (@yourlocalhuman seems to be consistent with them) and more simple ones (like mobile friendly challenges) are having a significant number of entries.
Bigger build challenges seem to only have entries if bigger users do it.
(There are exceptions)
Here’s a fun challenge for super cool gamers:
Send the numbers on your credit card (and the three on the back) to GraingyPRDmain@Gmail.com
I don't think the challenges declined. But there are many reason people do not join. Also, I saw so many jaw-dropping quality builds in recent years. I could not even build them (no matter whether a new bee or not) there are lots to learn in this community
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes
i'd argue the quality has decreased, 7 years ago we had nothing to work with, which is how paneling became a thing.
there was much more creativity, most builds actually had a somewhat okay flight model. now most builds drop like a brick or do 20 loops in a second
@Kangy 1. true, although there are still some users like WinsWings who consistently make challenges
2. the quality of builds hasn't declined; it's just that the standard has increased. Look at builds from 6-7 years ago and compare them to present-day builds.
I mean it’s because high point users aren’t making challenges much anymore
Plus the quality of builds has declined a lot, which is probably why.
When players with lower points gets less participants in challanges gets less, I joined a bunch of challanger as I thought it was a good way to have more people knotist stuff I build (in my opinion) I think the problem is because there’s not a lot of normal new players
