Performance cost / lag question

47.5k WisconsinStatePolice  1.6 years ago

Greetings,

I was wondering if there is any way to cause a major degrade in performance with the least amount of parts. At the moment I am using massive images with insane amounts of characters/symbols on text boxes. Is there a way to maximize the impact of these images, or is there a more effective way to make the game crash? I am looking to cause as much lag as possible with ~10 parts, any tips / suggestions would be helpful.

I say again, my goal is to make a small build slow down/crash the game.

But Wisconsin, why do you want to cause lag?

I found out that drag calculation affects gameplay and if you increase it past 100k it will take up to 2 mins to load into the game

either an ultra high-resolution video (a movie or a AAA cutscene) imported into a label part with this tool or simply a very powerful magnet.

@ToeTips If I tell you the haters, site moderators, and some elements of my city's public works department will try to stop me

In theory the most efficient method of crashing the game would be to just have a full wallpaper-scale image imported into a text label (using SPRaster or a similar tool).
