Hey! Whenever I try to play on my index, I have about 5 fps. I’m able to run the game on any other headset just fine, and my computer is more than capable. I’ve tried changing settings uninstalling and lowering resolutions but no luck :( does anyone know how I should fix this?
Gaming chairs have become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. They are designed to provide comfort and support during long gaming sessions. check this site out
@32 wheres the fun in that?
@sustainforelimb can't our ad bots be a little more creative?
@Jckrab12 hmm that's very strange. Hope you get this sorted out.
@32 it’s prob not a headset issue, since my tracking works fine in everything else plus other games work completely fine, it’s just simpleplanes. 😔 hopefully I can get this fixed soon
Sounds like an issue with how your headset is set up. I don't know a ton about VR stuff, but the Index is controlled by some wireless base stations, right? If I were you I would make sure those are working right. I assume you've played other games on Index. If not, try out a couple of other games from your library and see if they work. If they don't, then you should research a problem with your headset. Sorry I couldn't be much more helpful, but hopefully this helps with your problem.
edit: sounds like some people on reddit are having the same problem, you can probably look around there and see what people have to say.
I kind of doubt this is an issue with SimplePlanes itself, just because I've never heard anybody with good hardware talking about lag like that.
