Recently while tweaking my designs for an ERA package that would be effective in stopping both kinetic and explosive projectiles I found that glass is effective at neutralizing the explosive forces acting on the vehicle while also slowing down kinetic projectiles. In light of this revelation, I created an ERA package that uses modified fuselage blocks with damage models paired with unmodified glass in the following order: Strike face, Glass, Fuselage, Glass, Fuselage. While this package may be relatively thick that can be solved by editing the size of the parts and it is straightforward and effective as opposed to other similar yet less effective designs.
Pros: Easily resizable, Effective against both kinetic and explosive projectiles (including ATGMs), Straightforward construction with the ability to be up-armored or have layers removed.
Cons: Glass is susceptible to minor impacts causing the package's offered protection to greatly degrade, Each brick is at least 2 parts meaning that it will lag the game over time, The sides, top, and bottom are not protected.
