Heat-seeking missiles:
Parts are given a heat signature. Parts like afterburning engines are given a signature based on thrust amount. Parts on fire should also have a signature. Prop/turbine engines less so, but still prominent. The heat signature of a craft determines how easy it is to lock on and track. Flares will throw these off.
Different rocket pod models
It's really hard to build a soviet-style rocket pod launcher. A basic model of a UB-32 pod would be great, and maybe a Zuni pod with fairings. Just to add variety of course
Different Bomb models
Just a few small new models.
- Low drag (looks like the 500)
- FAB 500?
- Ballute/Snakeye (drops faster)
- WW2 style (like the current 250)
- 1000 lb, 2000 lb versions
Again, this would add variation.
Guided and Glide bombs
- Missiles without the smoke and thrust.
Eu vou além, acho que seria interessante a adição de radares no jogo, com uma ampla gama de tipos e funções. Adicionando também, armas guiadas por laser e GPS.
@ZeroWithSlashedO Por mais que possamos editar certos aspectos em armas já existentes, seria muito interessante ter uma variedades nos modelos de armas.
I agree on heat seeking missiles, another thing I'd like to add is the rear or all aspect capability, it would be so awesome
I'm a bit 50/50 on the rocket pods since you can just make them yourself, albeit with great effort
low drag bombs already exist (boom 50), what we truly need is a high drag bomb
you can basically take the boom 25 and rescale it to make an FAB-500 since there's not much different and you can always make custom bombs anyway
kind of agree but then again you can always make a custom model of it yourself
why don't we just rescale, edit the mass and the explosion scale to make a bigger bomb, is that too much task?
you can basically make smart bombs already, we don't really need a new weapon for it
