STOLEN STATUE RETURNED TO SIFA
A tip-off led the SNC to Krakabloa where the stolen statue was found, still intact.
A fleet of patrol boats under the command of Inspector Jokksen Joblob of Snowstone and Sergeant Jacob Nesslükke of the Wright Isles were assigned to escort the ship carrying the statue.
The statue arrived safely on Snowstone at around 12:00, where it was greeted by gunfire from unknown assailants. Their shots missed the "statue-bearer", but it caused damage and injuries to the crew of CV Sönmankka and CV Lindad.
Once the statue got returned to SIFA, the staff of the institute installed an upgraded security to prevent thefts.
OPERATION STANDARD LAUNCHED
In a surprise decision made by the SNC, Operation Standard was given the go-ahead by the Commissioner.
Operation Standard aims on reducing the amount of illegal street racers by deploying the Tactical Vehicle Crime Unit with high power unmarked cars to outrun every street racer with precision and elegance in every race, and to catch every person involved red-handed.
Just 2 minutes after the operation was given the go-ahead, 1000 arrests were made due to a pretty long list of offences committed, such as non-certified modifications, reckless driving, breach of public order, driving under the influence, not carrying required documents, possession of an illegal weapon, possession of an illegal substance, and property damage.
As expected, no one was happy due to the fact that they were arrested.
