Preserving history of World War II airmen around the globe through builds

Opinions and feedbacks highly appreciated

So as you know (or not) I'm quite of history guy myself..

Not a professional in particular but I know one or two about stuff in World War II especially on its aviation side. I've read and been well fascinated by lots of stories about individuals in World War II.

These stories may include such as selflessness acts in the air, brave airmen and aircrew serving around the globe at that time, no matter which side they're on.

Lots of these stories are definitely well known especially in the SP community, but some of them are hidden gems that no one knows but actually contains a very deep and interesting backstory.

.

My Plan

Straightforward... A plan of mine is to create decent quality creations, especially planes from the World War II era eith the addition such as notable liveries or other remarkable aspects, to honor the Airmen serving and protecting his loved one during the 6 years worldwide conflict. So what I'm saying is I'm just gonna be creating planes like usual, but with a twist that it will contain a backstory, either well-known or obscure individual especially from the World War II era.

I don't know how the community will think about this but I'm certain there is almost nothing wrong with preserving history?.. right?

I create this forum to receive feedbacks and opinion from you about this idea, I'm pretty sure I'm not the first and wont be the last to have such an idea, but I don't see it often in the community. So I decided to dedicate my SP skills to create planes for you guys to enjoy, while also having the addition of interesting and honorable backstory of the man serving behind that particular replica of a machine.

LIST

So far I've published a single build off this idea, and I will certainly add more in the near future:

P-51D Mustang "Bunnie" < Clicky Piloted by Flight Leader Roscoe Brown of the infamous Red Tails squadron, credited of being the first 15th Air Force pilot to shoot down a jet (Me262) while also facing segregation in the Army Air Corps during World War II

To mods, This is not meant to go against the rules as being those memorial post/builds, but more of a project or idea of telling a dedicated backstory of a particular plane I will be creating in the future, all fun and games and a little pinch of education :)

I hope the mod team and other understands. Thanks!

@XxRxX unfortunately I intended this idea to be a solo project, althought i took a look at your builds and they are indeed pretty decent! thanks for the support though ;)

@Kangy it is definitely a very cool project depending on how you look at it, i find myself building and creating planes pretty entertaining, and being able to tell the story of it just makes it even more special
