Also I don’t see anywhere in the rules that says you can’t tag devs. In fact, there have been some posts that have gotten official responses from devs.

@Sm10684 alright, I don’t have the capacity to argue anymore, and I’m starting to see insight in your point.

But one last thing: if you really wanted the SP devs to respond to this, why couldn’t you have just tagged all of them from the start? If Andrew doesn’t respond, even WNP78 is still quite active! And like you said, even a reply from the devs would shut everyone here up!

again, I'm not complaining about delays. if it takes 5 years for the devs to have enough time to make an update for any one of its games I'm COMPLETLY okay with that. Ill be bummed sure but I just don't want to feel abandoned by jundroo.

@Sm10684 I don’t think the devs are the kind of people who post without announcing a new feature, because they are not giving up on their passion, and want to work on it too. The last thing they want is to say that they are giving up, which is basically what delaying means.

@Sm10684 alright; your point is that Jundroo isn’t paying attention to its games. But the question is: can it?
Jundroo is not Microsoft, Rockstar or EA. It is an indie game company, with a team of less than 10 people, all of which have to not only fix thousands of bugs and research new features, but have to handle their families. They have lives, you know.
Big game companies delay features because they’re stingy, while indie companies simply don’t have the capacity to. Jundroo falls in the second category, not the first.

@Sm10684 yes, maybe the User Voice here feels neglected, but so is Juno’s. You can look at their roadmap and see that 90% of the suggestions there are labelled as “shelved”. Even the Juno users complain about this exact thing.
My point? Delays aren’t exclusive to SimplePlanes. Game dev is not easy and from my experience with creating, both here and outside SimplePlanes, there are always some annoying things that prevent what you want from being completed, because real life is immensely complicated. At least appreciate what the SP devs have managed to will into existence; it definitely wasn’t a smooth road. I addressed this before, and I’ll do it again.

tbh juno changed its name. I wouldn't be against a name change of SP, IMO its the ultimate sandbox game.

@TheCommentaryGuy In the event that jundroo tells us about what they're plan is (FOR ANYTHING not just sp) we will be patient, interested, and supportive of the process.

that's more accurate, also I'm patient now. I'm not harassing for an update, spamming or causing riots.

my goal is to see what jundroo is doing/their plan because I take an interest in what they do.

@Sm10684 you may be a car builder, but remember that this at heart is an airplane game, even though car parts exist, and hence this game is treated as such. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have kept its name.

So what? Does it hinder your ability to play the game in any way? Does it prevent you from creating masterpieces? If it were just about SP being neglected, you wouldn’t complain so much.
You want the devs to pay more attention to SP. What happens when they do that? A new update.
Hence, isn’t this your ultimate goal? Besides, you yourself have just admitted that you like the idea of a new update.

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes an update doesn't have to include new parts. as an experienced suspension builder, rotators and hinge rotators connections' aren't very strong creating camber and bump steering. it would be awesome if jundroo could patch that bug.

and just MAYBE... take a look at the user voice? tumbleweeds are gathering there.

this post is simply about a check in with jundroo as a whole and what they plan whether a new game, tournament, website update or just simply... "we're not planning anything at the moment"

Also speak for yourself, a new update would immediately draw me back to the game for a long while.
