Pfister on trial, loyalists on angry mode
While former president Velmadir Pfister stood trial in the Wright Isles National Court due to war crimes, much serious crap happened outside the courthouse.
Unruly loyalists charged at a group of officers outside the courthouse. Yelling chants defending their actions, the chaos forced the officers to use bayonets as a way to control the crowd. When the presiding officers of the trial handed a guilty verdict, an officer having a break witnessed all loyalists attempt to fire shots at the officers guarding the courthouse.
After 4 hours of giving warnings that fell to deaf ears, Inspector Nolan Heisenvier gave the signal to open fire on the crowd, causing the loyalists to flee.
After the chaos 248 were injured and 4 were found dead.
Vintage utility vehicles parade
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Snowstone Utility Service paraded their vehicles around Snowstone.
The vintage vehicles, restored and repaired by vintage car enthusiasts, were paraded as a reminder of the service's humble beginnings. One of the utility workers said that the vintage vehicles boosted public relations!
"Every time you're around the streets, there are people who ask us about how old the car is, what the car is used for. Some made comments about how beautiful they are!" -Alisa Dippsery, utility worker
As Snowstone law permits vintage vehicles to be driven as long as they were registered, maintained, and inspected, expect to see those golden oldies drifting around while responding to calls!
