It's been a while since I posted anything, hasn't it? Inspired by a rather fitting comment made on my "I'm not Dead." post, I've decided to explain my absence from build releases.

To put it simply, my interest has diverted away from SP at the moment. The interest in rally that spurred me to create the Fulvia drew me to the simulator Richard Burns Rally, which has attracted my autistic hyperfixation quite strongly.

I say hiatus because I am uncertain whether I might properly retire or eventually come back. Whether or not I do come back, let it be known I greatly appreciate the support I've gotten. I'm quite pleased with where my profile here on simpleplanes.com has gone. I have

• Released several builds that have surpassed 1000 downloads (some past 10k!)

• Released a few builds surpassing 100 updoots.

• Reached Platinum (on well received builds as opposed to grinding on mediocrity)

• Got two builds featured on Player Content Feature #8 and #14!

• Got a build Upvoted by Andrew himself!

• Developed off the base functionality of Toscio and Willy111's submarines in order to achieve things once thought impossible. Fully working Torpedoes, Sub-Launched Missiles, full underwater maneuverability.

• Achieved some neat things with ships such as: Reloading missiles, functioning Oars, improved buoyancy.

• Made some cars which improved over time with better details and increasing feature sets, leading to a car with manual transmission, interactable doors, and an exotic leaf spring suspension system.

While I was never the biggest name, I carved out my own place amongst the community. I always thought it better to try to be unique than the 'best' in general. I've never gotten as big as BogdanX, SpiritusRaptor, but I have made things that few (and in some cases no others) have made.

Even if not building, I'll check the site from time to time to see the cool stuff peeps build, and I'll always be willing to shoot some advice on ship and submarine related stuff. If you wanna find me elsewhere, I am mainly found around Port SP.

Thanks to everyone who has upvoted, spotlighted, downloaded and commented on my builds! I was once just another mediocre user just modding other people's builds, then I found a path which led to me becoming a novel platinum user. Let that be inspiration for anyone feeling small in the community :)
