Champions announced!

This morning, crowds gathered inside and outside the Nesslükke stadium to see their favorite athletes go up the stage. After moments of deliberation, the judges announced their list of champions.

A list of champions

The SAA county of Jednsti has its first time receiving a gold award. After the awards, athletes from different SAA counties hung out to trade some snacks, goodies, and even a whole potted plant.
Expect to see the athletes tomorrow at the Avalanche Airport. High security measures have been implemented around the airport and its vicinity to avoid terror attacks until the athletes have returned home safely.

69 arrested for illegal contraband

During the games, 69 arrests were made by security forces stationed near the stadium's vicinity for possession of illegal items.

just a pretty lame meme about what happened

A report by the Nesslükke Stadium Security Guard Service was made after a group of girls snuck into the stadium's emergency exit. According to one of the guards, when they were questioning the suspects, one of them threw a punch at the interrogator's face and then ran off.
"I was making some good talk and then they just jumped me. Damn, I even lost my radio when I woke up!" –Mia Arniece, NSSGS employee
Thankfully, another security guard hit a panic button on her radio. In response, security forces hung on to the side of their vans to try and search for the suspects. It took them almost 14 hours until a janitor from a nearby hotel noticed the suspects running to their hotel rooms.
When security forces breached the door, they found illegal drugs that cost Sn65,000,000,000 and firearms that weren't registered by any police force involved in the security of the games.
Arguments sparked between the arresting officers about which jail and police force should they take them in, until an agreement was made, where all suspects will be transferred to different prisons for every month.

WEATHER

Today is really snowy, with temperatures reaching up to -30°C. Expect similar weather conditions tomorrow, prepare your heaters and warm clothing, and drive safe.
