@32 I mean it's better than a number, Half-Stack.
@Graingy lol Jesus Pickle has got to be the greatest nickname of all time
@32 I said a silly little thing and you responded with
A: A thesis on account success relative to time,
and
B: making me feel like a decrepit fossil.
I am impressed with your resolve.
And saddened by my own failures as an account.
Tbh I don't know what the heck people follow me for. I think even a platinum or two have followed me for some reason.
Whatever. I like your funny numbers Jesus Pickle
@ToeTips hmm those seem to skew my numbers:
Winswings 22
GuyFolk 3
Spefyjerbf 6
Mahadi 18

Interesting. You have roughly three times the points and followers as me, which means that they are proportionate. How fascinating. In addition, each of my followers has on average upvoted ten of my posts. Each of your followers has upvoted about... ten posts.... how fascinating.
The reason @Graingy's followers and points are disproportionate to this (only about 2 upvotes per follower) seems to be because he has gained about 40 followers over a long stretch of time, as opposed to at a fairly consistent rate, like you and me seem to have.
Interestingly enough, other users have a similar statistic:
So in summary, it seems that accounts that gain followers at a normal rate have the highest upvotes to followers ratio, while accounts that gain followers at a slow rate have fewer. There will also be some discrepancies due to unusual circumstances, but this ratio is more or less consistent.
The sample size is a bit small, but I calculated the average, and it seems that the average follower-upvote ratio is 1:7.7.
I just looked and you turned 4 and I turned 5 at the same time lol.
@Graingy wait so what’s mine?
You have: ~160.8 Points per follower.
I have: ~41.5 Points per follower.
Your followers are ~3.9x cooler than my followers.
I dunno why I calculated that, but I did.
I wish follower lists were available...
