As the title says, I am going to start making planes based on request. I will have prices set up below, that will be for different types of planes.
Rules:
1.)
Can NOT be XML modded, I am unsure how to XML mod (don't bother explaining it to me in the comments, expecting me to allow XML, you will be blacklisted from requesting if you do)
2.)
CAN NOT be based off any sort of plane
3.)
If you do not like the aircraft maybe give some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. If you are rude and simply tell me it sucks, I will blacklist you from requesting aswell as reporting you to the mods
4.)
Don't rush me, if you want a crappy plane go ahead, but I'll blacklist you from requesting and NOT upload the requested plane.
5.)
Payment is done in up-votes, if you think I am begging for up-votes, you are WRONG. It is simply the only way to have people pay, without needed real money.
Since it is a request, make a simple design 2D of the plane you want, top view, side, and bottom, or explain it in the comments

F - Fighter
LF - Light F : 1
MF - Medium F : 2
B - Bomber
LB - Light B : 3

Look man, you asked for my thoughts and that's what I'm giving you. I don't know if it necessarily breaks any rules. It's a bit of a gray area. And if I were you, I would go about this request thread a different way. The whole votes as currency thing just doesn't sit right with me. If someone wants to vote your stuff on their own, then cool. If they vote things that they weren't initially going to vote and are only doing so because you asked for those votes as a form of currency... that doesn't seem right to me.
@TheLatentImage Ok, not to be rude but if this isn't against the rules, there is no problem. Plus they would just up-vote different planes, not like I'm asking them to post a comment and reupload the plane as something else. Anyways isn't that what CHALLENGE HOSTERS do?
It would make better sense if you weren't asking people to upvote as a form of payment. They want to upvote the plane they requested? Cool. Asking them to upvote other stuff too because the one upvote isn't enough. Not cool.
@TheLatentImage Understandably, maybe make it so it has a theme. Where as they choose the color and etc, maybe for a SERIES. Like a collection of planes, then it would make better sense.

@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries but... that's what people do already, trade their time and effort for votes and comments. I don't understand asking for people to give you more than one upvote on a design. They request a design, you build it, then you expect then to vote the request build, and then go arbitrarily vote some other random upload of yours? Seems strange, and not the way I would do things buddy.
@TheLatentImage I get what you're saying, but I don't really use much time building, nor do I have the time. So instead of building my normal builds, I would be building a request plane. So in exchange for my time, they upvote. Like trading.. Trade my time for their up-vote. Which I do have REASONABLE prices..
I don't understand the point to this. If you make a plane that someone requests then you're probably going to get an upvote. But asking to retroactively go vote your planes as a form of currency seems kind of silly to me. I don't know if it's necessarily against the rules, but I don't think that it's how I would go about doing things.
