Can we just not have this community die cause so many good builds that aren't even done if no one is in the community anymore then no one will want to complete the builds so basically then the game will only have a couple builds posted a day

we already have everything we need
@DatMaluchGuy19 that is a healthy dose of optimism I do hope it is true but I have a bad feeling
@RYAviation have you read this comment by any chance?
I mean shit I wouldn’t fault the community who desperately wanted the devs to continue to give SP love and that just kinda said “ hahaa we understand how much you guys want this and love this game but yeah no lol” I wouldn’t be surprised the community crumbles
Play on, Comrades!
I will keep the game alive by posting daily crafts (I hope I will keep it alive)
(Edit: i hope the game just never dies)
I mean Ive been out of the game for a while but on occasion I still make proof of concepts for mechanisms
@MobileBuilder21 Flyout won’t kill SP.
This game thrives on its simplicity, while Flyout is more equivalent to Blender: more features, but harder to learn.
Also, SimplePlanes has a style and a community that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. WNP78 mentioned it himself.
And that’s assuming Flyout even gets published (it’s been 2 years now).
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes Have you heard of a game called Fly Out, SP will die eventuly as stated in this comment.
I think they need to set simpleplanes to 50% off everywhere so we get new players.
@Randomplayer ... I intended to say "Using just this website" but honestly I was right
@SILVERPANZER That sounds like development HELL.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes
I feel like what would really kill the community(Or deal it a mortal blow) is Simpleplanes 2. Assuming they create a whole new website for it and if its welldone. Not saying everyone will flock there but most will. And if builds can be transfered through XML(I dont know if this is possible, probably not but a guy can dream)
@Graingy so true (not me)(I’m not a clown)(Graingy is)(I’m not being mean)(itsajoke)(imgoingsinsanehelpmeplease)
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes that's a good thing I thought that the game would die out the year after
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes This.
This is what I wish some people could wrap their minds around.
I feel like a total clown just using the website
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes Exactly. I've been working on my SWL-120 for 2 years now, with plans to refine and further improve it next year, and I am still very interested in SP. In fact, it's the only game I've played at all the last few months.
I can't explain this properly, but rest assured, this community will not die.
Most of the SP community is still made up of passionate builders. They play SP not to wait for new features, but because they're here to build whatever they want. Not having any more updates does not at all hinder your ability to enjoy the game, because ultimately you're here to play the game, not sulk about not having features.
And many people still join the community, because like what I said earlier, they are here to play the game.
The player base may level off, it may even dip a bit, but let me assure you that a lack of updates isn't stopping us from enjoying the game.
