All I have left to do is the Vulcan, cockpit, and additional armament loadouts. Anybody know the best way to make functional flaps? I connected a small wing to a rotator for my Su-75 but it had more of a pitch effect instead of adding lift.

@Eggplant I hear you and it makes sense "That it should" I just don't think it's going to be as dramatic as an actual control surface. I bet you it's the programming of the game. But logically you are correct... Z 😼
@Zaineman maybe... I just assumed it would work without control surfaces since I didn't use any for roll/pitch/yaw
@Eggplant this is just a thought but I think I might be right. You're using a wing that does not allow control services. (Let's start there) , when Win makes his flaps he uses an actual control surface on the wing and then he covers it up with fuselage much like you did. I think the reason why you and I are not feeling the effect of the flap is because you're not using an actual control surface you're using just a piece of a wing. So I'm thinking that control surfaces might be programmed a little differently to affect lift, roll, pitch that sort of thing rather than just an entire wing being deflected to catch more wind. I see what you mean I'm not feeling anything as a result of lowering those flaps. And we should be feeling
A LOT
based on the size of the section you were using for your flaps. Check this out Click Here this is a build called black dragon. The part of the wing used for the flaps is the center section between the two engines. The flaps are automatic based on altitude and speed. But you can feel a huge difference when they deploy. You can feel the lift. This is another great example. You can turn off the engines on this plane, come in for a landing, the auto flaps will kick on and you can see the front of the aircraft tip up a little bit due to the extra lift in the auto flaps. Click here to see Z 😺@Eggplant I would add the air brakes (hidden somewhere in the fuslarge) and let them open when you lower the flaps. so that you could simulate the experience
@Eggplant I'm looking at this plane right now. And making changes then I will private post back to you for your approval.. Z 😺

@Zaineman yeah I put a structural wing in each flap but it didn't seem to do anything when flaps were down
tag the plane to me
This might be a little late but Try @winswings he's my bud and he's great with flaps. Z 😸
