I would also like to point out as I have in the past that it's possible for a person to own and enjoy multiple games, we're not egotistical enough to expect that our players shall only play the games we make and nothing else. And it's not like another game gaining a player directly correlates to SP losing one. In the end it is a positive thing to have a burgeoning genre with different games filling their own niche. I'm not one to censor discussion of other games, though I do question if this post really adds anything valuable to the discussion
@Transair56 generally, most players stay on mobile, even though they don’t have access to mods.
It’s not because they want to, but because a lot of them are too poor to afford computers.
Also, for Flyout, it’s pretty unlikely they’d release it for mobile since the retail price is currently about $20, and from the looks of it a lot of RAM is required to run it
@Transair56 Juno is probably expensive too
But it has a walker part, chairs for the walker, rocket engines, detailed wings without having to use a fuselage, vapor appears on the surface of the craft your flying when it reaches mach 1, and theres procedural jet engines
Flyout isn't even out yet and you're gonna need a powerful PC, not a phone or crappy laptop.
In other words: it isn't taking over SimplePlanes' intended market.
Flyout will not be releasing on mobile; and even on pc it won't work with integrated graphics.
Edit: look at the minimum system requirements:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon X4 845, Intel Core i5 6400
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050, Radeon RX 580
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 3 GB available space
RECOMMENDED:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
DirectX: Version 11
