@Graingy well that is true but keep in mind it did come out in 2015, so the game definitely doesn't look good by today's standards, but it was fine for back then. Especially with UI design and stuff, J:NO's is a bit of a visual atrocity, while KSP is pretty much just Windows 7 nostalgia.
@32 There is no such thing as polish in KSP lol
though tbh for ages mine has had these really blurry textures. Newer parts and textures are better, but still not very good.
But like seriously everything is a smudge. Doesn't give the best impression
@Graingy I would say overall, KSP feels a bit more finished and polished albeit old and outdated, while J:NO's graphics and overall design are better but a bit rough around the edges.
@32 Sorry, are you saying rockets are rigid in KSP or Juno?
Because they most definitely are not rigid in KSP, unless you're a shameless user of autostrut (like myself lol)
@Graingy yeah Juno has a whole career mode with tech tree paths for both space exploration and in-atmosphere stuff like cars and planes. The controls are way better, you have the option to line up exactly the heading you want to go to and your rocket will do it, unlike in KSP where tapping the "W" button once will send you into a death spin that will do irreparable damage to your pilot. In KSP yeah the rockets are rigid, which I don't personally care about but it could be nice for some people I guess.
@32 Never played it, but I don't think I could go without KSP's character.
Does Juno have a science/tech tree mode?
I've heard rockets are completely rigid in the game, which sounds like both a blessing and a curse.
Once got a random encounter with the mercury analogue (Smercury?) and tried burning radial in I think to enter orbit. Of course, that never would have worked.
@Majakalona oh
@Randomplayer only counting the ones on jundroo.com
How about simple affects?
@32 Aahhh I see. X is such a useless letter.
@Graingy basically the whole User Experience.
@32 UX?
@Graingy you’re not wrong. Very few Windows UX designs have aged well.
@32 Windows 7: Everything is fkcing shiny

@Graingy yeah it was a typo, I meant J:NO

@Graingy and J:NO is actually better than ksp imo

I learned jack in SimpleRockets
@32 I got like 30 or something
Amazing how even being 3D KSP is just so much easier
@Graingy I played for about an hour. It was mildly entertaining.
I bought simplerockets on Mac, probably before I got KSP
That was a complete waste of money.
ppffft
@Sm10684 mostly just talking about the stuff here
on the main page
exept for SPVR
Simple physics is at the bottom of the Mariana Trench
@TheOfficalMarylander wait till you see the SR Updates!
