Do your SP and Gravatar use the same email? You also have to go into "manage account" in your SP profile and tell it to use gravatar.

Yeah, you need a Gravatar. I suggest making a spam email since Gravatar apparently is pretty sketchy.

I'm not clever at this, but I can tell you.
You can change it on Gravatar.
You have to log in there before you can change your image.
