Discord stop the image hosting
(image will not shown)
Try to fix it (if possible)
I think old SimplePlanes user has know this, but I decided to show this tutorial again for user who didn't know.
I don't need to talk to much
(See image)
You need this things:
- Blueprints
- Google (any browsers)
- Mathematics
Step1
Fuselage body/hollow (up to you)
Top fuselage (body aircraft/main body, cockpit & etc)
Bot fuselage as length (based on real size)
Circle section will use as length.
search in your browser or Google, like this
In this case, I search tu-204 length.
Also you need this (because in designer, length are shown in ft)
Step2
Go to bot fuselage (length section) then open XML.
Set the length, in meter of aircraft (tu-204 is 46m)
Like this,
Then open your blueprints image and fit the fuselage length to blueprints (top and side)
The result of my Tu-204
In this case, I made it overlength (at least the size is almost same)
@ShinnyGlassy
Thanks.

Video1
Video2
Video3 this one are mostly I learned.
@ShinnyGlassy
Oh. Do you know any other good replica tutorials?
@Mousewithamachinegun123
Sadly I have lost all of image in this forum post.
Hey, I would love to read this, but all the images are gone. Probibly cause of discord stoping their image hosting.
I'm doing similar for a motorcycle I'm making
I have a similar method that also uses fuselage blocks to get the accurate size.
Alternatively, base everything off the VR seat part (if you’re building fictional stuff)
i stick with one cockpit or squished cockpit
Excellent tutorial!
I use this trick for making fictional plane lmao 💀💀
