Method/mod for building models of RC // micro-scale planes

Recently, I decided to try using Simpleplanes for building a model of an RC plane. I tried doing some manipulations using the scale tool in the designer, but the result was far away from what I was expecting. For some reason, mass distribution characteristics were more awkward than expected, and the engine has demonstrated irrational behavior, even though I made sure to transform the mass of the parts (and the max thrust value accessible for the engine) according to the size. I suggest that if investigated more, it is still technologically possible to assemble legitimate, size-correct models of RC planes and other representatives of micro-scale using the basic designer tools and XML data tables, but I also guess it won't be a simple and quick job to perform. This brought me to an idea of asking you - my fellow aviators - is there any modification to the designer that confidently provides you with an ability to assemble models of mentioned types (the initial search in the related sections of the website did not bring any results) .Or is there something I am hugely missing (don't know about) in our designer while attempting to perform such a design?

The creator of KSP is making a game called kitbash, perhaps you can look into that? Other than that, build the plane to scale, but larger (instead of 1:10 scale, build in 10:1), then use fine tuner to scale the whole thing down when you are done (uncheck 'scale only selected parts' to scale whole builds. Make sure relative scale is checked and mass/engine scale is unchecked)
