Chii's Crash Course of Understanding what I mean by everything

for the forum

[ Chii's Collection of Target Ships ]

[ Tier List ]

  • Tier I (T1) : I don't like, bad service record, bad design, bad etc.
  • Tier II (T2) : i decently like, with a decent service record, decent design choices, and baseline everything; nearly everything save for more advanced or bigger ships will be here, whether they'd want it or not, also, smol motor bois/gals should be here, or another tier up, if they somehow landed in tier IV or above, you'd have to wonder if they can somehow take you to the moon with all that raw power and badassery, hah.
  • Tier III (T3) : i like, good service record, good design, it's tier II but sliiiightly better, I'd put ships that I like here, even if their design is not stellar… or they're just a bit more complicated than a Tier II ship.
  • Tier IV (T4) : i very like, great service record, great design, great everything really, sometimes historically significant and/or epic and funni, ask Piorun, she knows well what she did, every ship that is unremarkable but I love to death will be placed here, ask Warspite, awoo!(wheeeen i eventually get to them.)
  • Tier V (T5) : i very very like(there's not a lot of ships that I very like), superb service record, superb design, superb everything really, usually very historically significant, or just way too pretty to pass up… or beeg, you can ask USS Enterprise(CV-6), HMS Ashanti, and then the Alicorn, in that order(when i eventually get to them of course).

[ Advanced Buoyancy System ]

( check out the original system that mine is based off )
- [Link to Kendog84 Advanced Buoyancy System]

  • A-0 : doesn't have an Advanced Buoyancy System installed, either because it is an old legacy, or it is a submarine, depends really.
  • A-I : Entry-level Advanced Buoyancy System, much stronger and robust than A-0 but still fragile against explosives, typically installed on small vessels between 20-60m(65ft-195ft)
  • A-II : significantly more robust against explosives compared to A-I because the external hull is split in the middle, ships who has this installed will tank explosives more better than A-I, doesn't mean they can't be destroyed by a strong enough explosives though, but as I said, it's much more robust against them; A-II will usually be installed on ships bigger than 60m.
  • A-III-A : in function, the A-II system, however it has a magazine detonation system implemented making for a more realistic and satisfactory boom, goes without saying that the turret also pops up when it detonates!
  • A-III-B : in function, the A-I system, of course, with a magazine detonation system implemented too.
  • A-IV : we have gun, and hit-able fuselage below waterline.. heh.
(OKAY I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE ACTUAL CANNONS WORK FOR AI THANKS TO WINTERROO SHEDDING LIGHT ON IT WOOOOO - 24/12/23,03:05:59)

[ A-I, A-II, A-III ]

the words in parentheses after the A-I, A-II, or A-III system signifies how many sections it has, for example, 3FA-2WA has 3 sections from Fore to Aft(FA) and the ship has 2 sections Width Across(WA) at the widest point. (e.g. A-I(2FA-1WA), A-III-A(6FA-2WA))

[ Standard Basic Hull Type ]

  • A : From Fore to Aft, all Fuselage is X-0,Y-0,Z-0 in rotation
  • B : From Fore to Aft, Main Hull is typically X-0,Y-0,Z-0 in rotation but the front bow and rear stern are usually fuselages that are rotated X-90,Y-0,Z-0 to make for a round ends
  • C : Although rare, From Fore to Aft, the fuselage is rotated X-90,Y-0,Z-0, making for a relatively rounded ship from the top

[ Fuselage Sliced Type ]

  • FS-A : a soft fuselage slice that is used for a elegant flared bow or the bottom of a sharp PT Boat
  • FS-B : a hard fuselage slice that doesn't have a curve to it, typically used on a more modern warships, some stealth, some still somewhat stealthy, and some just wants a hard edge.

[ Superstructure ]

  • Basic : Little to nearly lack of superstructure on the ship, typically worth 1-2p
  • Standard : Typical Superstructure Designs, using a combination of full fuselage and half-hollow fuselages to achieve the shape of the superstructure, worth between 2p to 5p at most.
  • Advanced : Although nearly the same as the Standard, Advanced Superstructure implements some extra measures and details to the point that it needs some paneling, a great example is the superstructure of the Heavy Cruiser IJN Takao, worth between 4p up to a venerable 6p.

[ Half-Fuselage ]

soon to come, want a simple tumblehouse hull? well, tooo coooomeeee~

[ Understanding The Naming Structure ]

    A-B-C-D-[E]-[F]-(G)-(H)

    • A : Tier Rating of Ship(e.g. T1, T3)
    • B : Ship Class(e.g. Yamato-class, Tribal-class, in case of no sister ships, skip to C.)
    • C : Ship Type (e.g. Battleship, Submarine, Light Cruiser)
    • D : Suffix + Ship Name(e.g. HMS Indefatigable, USS Maryland)
    • [E] : Part Count of Ship(e.g. [171 parts], [223 parts])
    • [F] : Performance Cost of Ship(e.g. [171pc], [704pc])
    • (G) : Date of the ship's launch(according to my timeline, not SP)(e.g. (28/11/2023, 21:21))
    • (H) : Buoyancy System of the Ship(e.g. (A-I), (A-II))

    • Example : T2 Elkan-class Torpedo Boat MB-111
      [97 parts] [337pc] (06/11/2023, 23:42) (A-0)

P.S. I know that it is complicated, however, i don't want to repeat the mistake that I had made, I want to know the date of when each ship was launched so that I feel for each of them more rather than the long lost far detached targets that I once had.. for all of them, may they sail in peace towards a brighter end

@Monarchii me and you are the same in having a surprisingly in depth naming convention system

This is the level of organization I wish I had when doing Eel War stuff.
    I'm jealous.
