first of all
I’d say overall it’s a great game on vr. A lot of fun. But the main problem is the quality settings. You can’t change the quality over low. I’m using a Quest 3 that has a processor that is more than capable of cranking out full quality and it should be able to play the game in quality over what trashy setting it’s at now. “Meta Quest 2 rocks Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR2 processor, while the Quest 3 has a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, which allegedly delivers about a 30 percent speed bump and between 2 to 2.5x better graphical performance, according to Meta” -USA Today
Second
you can’t play aircraft with parts over about 700 or so. They just don’t show up. And my headset is more than capable of playing them. Again, quest 3 has a 2 to 2.5x more processing power and graphical performance then quest 2
Third
there is no search. The only aircraft you have available are ones on top of the year, month or week. You might be saying, “wow that’s quite a bit”. It’s really not. A lot of the best aircraft were made more than a year ago and there’s no way to get to them. And even if I could it wouldn’t let me bc of the part count.
Don’t go saying “oh it’s to be inclusive to Quest 2 and 1 users” Just separate the generations then. Make the app adaptive to different generations. It’s very simple
If there is a way to get some of this stuff to work, please tell me
@AshdenpawTG22 I’d probably have to do the same thing, my favorites is just full of random people’s unlisted builds
@32 I made an alt bc the favorite page on this account is a huge garbage heap
@AshdenpawTG22 yeah. You can also access your jet stream that way. You probably have to connect your account in order to download high part count stuff as well.
@32 is the favorites thing when you link it to an account?
You can find and access part counts over 700, I’ve done it on my friend’s Q2 before. The nonexistent search bar is a massive issue, but you can get around it by finding a plane on another device’s web browser and adding it to your favorites.
I get the reason why spvr doesn’t have a search bar, it appears to be general unwillingness to make one, as evidenced by the fact that they just embedded a Google search bar into the website.
The locked graphics and physics settings is pretty dumb, if a player wants to tank their framerates they should be allowed to.
I would like to see SPVR get ported to PSVR2
