Plane uncontrollably spins downwards when I pitch tightly down

247 TheAviatorFlak  10 months ago

The plane itself is the first plane I've built, of which I've recently revisited it and polish it up to release it here in a finished state. While I was doing some test runs to test some of its maneuverability and dogfighting, I encountered a massive problem. Whenever I'd takeoff, pitch up and then pitch down, the jet would go on an uncontrollable spin with minimum chance of recovery. Similarly, my plane wobbles around a lot when turning.

Just a quick thing- CoM and CoL are not a problem. I think it has something to do with the control surfaces but I just cant find the right setup.

@TheAviatorFlak get rid of the engine at the back, add two under the wing. (2nd option to fix)

By 2 engines do you mean I should add 2 smaller engines under my wings (Which would total to 3) or yk, the normal solution

@TheAviatorFlak alr, the problem is basically to move you engine inwards, or have 2 engines under your wings, as the Center of Thrust has to be somewhat level with the Center of Lift.
