I don't know what the developers think but for me they believe that cell phones are still in the era of 2014. They should add maps for cell phones, this game is very boring and monotonous. I only build things because I like it and that's it but there is no action or anything, it is boring just seeing the sea everywhere, they should look for the solution of being able to have maps on android because that is why we pay for this incredible game that can be followed bringing out potential, although the payment is not much but if we are here it is to have fun and everything has become boring, on PC they have everything and they deserve it, on Android and IOS we deserve it too. And before you tell me to buy a PC if I want more things, I tell you that I already have one but only for study and work purposes. thank you

MODS FOR MOBILE PLEEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEE
Also w content
For mods, it was because Apple and Google don’t want extra content added to their game and have set content limits. And they wanna keep it mobile friendly for all. Doesn’t mean that isn’t all wrong
we need maywar. 100%
No
Modding on Android (with scripts) was removed because the version of Mono (the Android build support used for SP mods) is 32-bit when 64-bit became the requirement. Maps still work (supposedly), but anything with a script is out of the question. As for modding on iOS, it could hypothetically be possible, but a new system would have to be created to import them, it couldn’t just be as simple as “add Unity map files to therefore add maps.”
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes yayyyy!!!!
@Dragoranos more precisely, maps with scripts (code).
It means that Android phones can download maps, but not any mod parts/tools.
From what I remember, mods were disabled because Google was forcing devs to upgrade to 64-bit from 32-bit, due to the latter being obsolete.
So it was either SP updates beyond 1.8 stopping completely (which means no glass or fuselage cutting), or Android mods being disabled.
@WaterFlavouredSpitfires BuY A pC!!!!!!!!!
(I play on Mac, which means I can run some, but not all, mods.)
((Forgot to mention earlier, but Pampanagga and Olyoma-Thunder Bay are mobile-compatible))
Mods were removed from mobile because of Google policy changes or smth like that, not because the devs wanted.
Omg finally I've been saying this But PC Players are like "BuY A Pc!!!" which is Very Ignorant imo and most of us play on mobile But thanks for suggesting bro :D
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes eyyy, someone mentioned me? XD
I'll self-promote my structures forum while at it XD
[ Forum for all my Structures ]
@Mousewithamachinegun123 an Android version of Maywar can be found here. If you go to his profile you can find a few more Android mods too
Well if your phone's powerful enough, I'm sure you won't have a problem downloading maps made in SimplePlanes, with fuselage blocks, that can be spawned as AI.
Some examples:
Ohbu Island
Kani Island
@Monarchii's AI structures
SimplePlanes Mobile Railway (shameless self-promotion).
Besides that, there are a handful of Android map plugins that can be found if you search hard enough.
Ik they don't get close to MisterT's maps or the GIS maps, but at least there are options available.
Yes, especially maywar.
