People who are interested could maybe join one of the 3 factions, and build stuff like fighters, bombers, SPAAs, ships etc. to try to take over each other's HQ and blow up the vehicles? There could even be progression, like at first jet engines and missiles would be banned, but after a certain condition has been met you can start using them? Of course, nobody is allowed to XML edit ridiculously powerful parts.
As long as there is fair play I think it will be fun and a good community event.
Yea that would be cool along with a multiplayer server where we could all combat with each other. I'd say xml would be a good thing if you were covering wings with fuselages (because you'd need to disable drag), making larger than normal planes and, for higher progression levels, nuclear bombs.
