So..... I was testing out some of the Gizmo items when I figure out how to make the 777x flip winglets thingy-- so the way this basically works is that I first take the wingtip of the 777 and place it next to the wings (not connected btw) and place a Hinge Rotator where the wingtip was placed, then I set it to 90° rotation, 50% speed, for the activation group (any unused group ex: 6,7) and for the input (trim or VTOL but I mainly use VTOL) and then I put back the wingtip and connected it to the Rotator (just slightly apart from the main wing) and Wa La! The 777x winglet is done! To activate it, we first have to press the Set Activation Group (like the one I said, 6 or 7) and set the VTOL to a lower amount so that the wingtip will turn into a Flat Winglet! And to keep the winglet stay and use the Flaps or whatever that is used on the VTOL we basically turn of Group 6 Or 7. Now I know it's sound simple to make, but it's really neat when making the Boeing 777x. Now I could use the 777-300 from GalacticaAsia (of course with absolute 100% credits and permission from GalacticaAsia) and use someone's GE9X engines (WITH PERMISSION OF COURSE) or maybe make it myself! Still, I don't think the 777x Blueprints have been released yet, but I'll try my best to replicate it using photo resources, videos, etc. Know it's not confirmed yet if I'm going to make it (bc my builds are kinda bad like that one 757 prototype that I made) but I'll try my best when I do make it.
Thanks for reading! 🙂
Use Activate7, that's all. Folded wingtips only works like an on-off switch and does not need to provide input from VTOL. Just select the Hinge Rotator, go to XML editor -> inputController -> input:Activate7, and it will fix the problem.
