Hello everyone! I've taken a bit of time off recently, but I do have a couple projects to show off.
This is my T-8D 'Raven', a long range, coaxial troop transport helicopter with some payload capabilities.
It has an almost complete cockpit area, and 14 seats for troops in the rear.
This is the first helicopter that I've made that has a good looking front fuselage/interior, which I'm proud of.
Currently, it has two clamshell type doors near the middle of the fuselage. I'm not 100% whether I like it or not, but it works well with the stub wing configuration the helicopter has.
I incorporated the ability to yaw without using gyros (by using differential collective) and rotor stabilization in the Pitch, Roll, and Yaw axes, which makes for smooth flight (the stabilization can also be turned off, for when you need lots of maneuverability).
As of now, it's almost (kinda) finished. It's been in this state for a while now, and will hopefully publish it soon.
I've also started messing around and making a naval variant of my T-29, which I'm giving the designation T-29C (not sure what I'm gonna set as the name, though. Kinda hard to incorporate the sea with 'Pivot'). It's still in it's early stages, though, and needs lots of work.
Right now the only thing setting it apart from the 29A version is a slightly larger wing area, a wing folding mechanism (I still have to make the mechanism for the horizontal stabilizers), two extra pylons on the intakes, sightly stronger landing gear for carrier arrests (just changed the spring strength. May redo the rear landing gear at some point), and a modified cockpit with extra switches and whatnot.
Anyways, hopefully I'll be able to get my T-8D published soon. I'm very proud of how it has come along, and I hope you guys will enjoy it.
