Trying to run mods while playing on Debian linux and I have no idea where the ‘mods’ folder is. So far, I’ve been looking through the local files on steam as it’s impossible for me to locate the games files otherwise. Is there some sort of DRM that hides it, or am I just looking it the wrong place?

I don't run Linux, but on Windows it's located in some subfolders in my AppData folder in my user folder (full path is
username\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\Mods). Maybe look for a similar folder in your user folder?As far as I know SimplePlanes doesn't have any DRM or anti-piracy features, so it's likely you're just looking in the wrong folders.
