Day 2 of the Monarchii war was WILD...
Here's your news update, I'll try to do this every day! No guarantees, but I will try my best!
OK maybe 99% unbiased
The Monarchii war rages on! Today you'll get to see different perspectives from Wright, Krakabloa, and Snowstone! What's next, you guys gonna invade Sky Park City next??
However, jokes aside, it is with heavy hearts that we start today's newsletter with tragic information.
Sargent Scusus A. Mugus was sadly confirmed shot down in combat. Along with being one of the oldest and most experienced F/A-32 pilots, he also brought character, strength, motivation, power, and the power of venting to his allies. He went down with honor and glory, being struck by two Monarchi Me 263s and a missile from the Ice Base in a successful attempt to disable their missiles. Sgt. Mugus will be missed, and all operational F/A-32s will be painted red from here in honor of his sacrifice.

(moment of silence for respect to him)
(wait can't he just respa- SHHH THEY DON'T KNOW THAT PLUS THE PLANE CAN'T)
Shifting our attention to the familiar sight that is the Isles of Wright, CrestoAeronautics has been keeping Monarchii's homebase on its toes with several aircraft and ships to slow down deployments to Snowstone, which will make the Arctic Invasion far easier.

Alright, we've talked enough about Wright (really, not much news coming out of the Monarchii homebase, but rumor's going around suggesting that BYardley and Speedhunter might be arriving soon to assist Monarchii's war efforts). Let's get to the juicy stuff that you came here for: the chaos in the cryogen, the attack on Snowstone!
Things are in fact improving for both sides, with new weapons coming in on both fronts. Starting with the MGLA, several tanks and planes have entered the scene, such as CrestelAeronautics' TVT-100 and NVN-100 light tanks, which were quickly delivered to the island via B-984 airdrop.

The same tanks get into formation and prepare for battle following their landing, notice how they changed their paint from B-984 Black-and-red tribute to snow-camo white
Crestel's attacks don't end there though, the SK-3 so far has proven a powerful ally for the MGLA, dropping heavy payloads on the Ice Base in attempt to break it. The SK-3 was also credited with destroying 2 Syrian Hell Cannons. So far, no SK-3s have been lost to enemy fire, although one was slightly damaged during a high-wind landing.

Ditto, this time dodging an Ice Base missile
And things get better for the MGLA, with the help of two SK-3s and an F-11Y3, an HLC Plopter was brought down non-violently and captured by MGLA forces. The future of this Plopter from here is known and up to its primary captor, CrestelAeronautics.
The Plopter takes off whilst in the hands of the MGLA
Speaking of the Plopter, though, Monarchii's Air Force hasn't been pulling any punches. Everything from airstrikes to dogfights, Monarchii's aircraft have been attacking every enemy plane in the sky, and have downed several bombers, 9 Super Bomber MK-Is, 4 DA Flying Wings, and a single AH-25 Defender. However, the helicopter loss is debatable, as an eyewitness Shock MBT crew suggested that the helicopter crashed because they attempted to fly backwards in order to face the aircraft they were attacking, whereas the Monarchii pilots claim that the helicopter did such a maneuver because it had been damaged and lost control. However, without photographic evidence of this specific scenario, there is no proving precisely what happened. However, both sides have agreed that the downed copter had burning armor when it went down, favoring this as a kill for the Fulcrums.

Two Monarchii Me 263s, likely the ones involved with the F/A-32 kill mentioned earlier
And for our penultimate Snowstone segment for the day, we look to the ground where tanks are starting to kick their game up- and by a large margin too. The Shock MBT no longer is the sole carrier of the MGLA's ground attack, and four new kinds of tanks have come to assist: along with the TVT-100s and NVN-100s mentioned earlier, the first M-99 heavily armored tank destroyers and M81A1 Obliterators have arrived on Snowstone. The M-99 has yet to see combat, but the M81A1 has been attacked by Monarchii Kanones and Ice Base missiles, which almost surprisingly were unable to piece the Obliterator's armor. Then again, it's called a Super Heavy Tank for a reason!

One of the M-99s stands on its stability "stilts" to shoot down ASMs, while a KV-2 watches on in the backdrop. This KV-2 formerly fought for Monarchii, but has switched to a neutral life after a near-death experience with a Plopter and Shock MBT simultaneously

Now, if Snowstone is too cold for you, I recommend you skip a section, because our next segment and final Snowstone article of the day, talks about a historic event. Sort of.
The MGLA has launched the first night attack of Snowstone. This not only marks the first nocturnal attack involving both ground and air forces, but also sees the debut of the Albatross Stratoglider, P-10B Pointer, and Su-78 "Former." The ground forces consisted of 2 Shock MBTs, 6 TVT-100s, and a single M-99 Tank Destroyer. None of the MGLA were lost, except for a single Su-78 that flipped over on takeoff. However, aside from Hell Cannons and Artillery Kanones, no Monarchii forces were lost either except for a single Plopter shot down by a P-10B, which marks the first Plopter to actually be shot down during the war.

Ditto, but with a better view of the Albatross. Observe the picture above again, and you'll realize just how well the Stratoglider blends into its Snowstone environment
An Su-78 dives past a mountain, realizing that both Monarchii's forces and his own have been ignoring Avalanche Airport all this time
The sole M-99 involved in the attack drives alongside an M-49 and TVT-100. Two things to note in this picture: the first being the M-99 is positioned closest to the Ice Base so it's more likely to take the hit for the team, which is a very wise strategy since the M-99 has the heaviest armor of the three. The second being that these tanks have their lights on, this is because they know that the Monarchii forces can already see them with their lights off, so they might as well turn them on for better visibility and a bit of intimidation, as if they WANTED to be seen
A P-10B makes a scene that can only be described as chaos as it unleashes its entire arsenal of 75 Firescreech rockets onto ground targets
A different P-10B claims the first Plopter lost by enemy fire
Alright, we're out of the cold for now, moving on to much warmer climates is MGLA's new official homebase, Krakabloa. The formerly unoccupied island of Krakabloa has been claimed for the MGLA, and now serves as their base of operations. With this new headquarters, the MGLA was able to finish their 747 Aircraft Carrier, and it was immediately deployed to assist with the Snowstone Siege. This base has also become the current resting place of the B-29 liberated from Snowstone on Day 1. Here it will undergo repairs and upgrades while under the protection of an A-40B by the serial number 83018.

@CrestelAeronautics same
The Firework I've given to the MGLAAF is actually a shotgun plane, just without the rapid fire
@TheUltimatePlaneLover I put that on a plane before the ground🤣🤣
@CrestelAeronautics yes but with rapid fire (preferrably)
@TheUltimatePlaneLover like, a shotgun?
@CrestelAeronautics Good, and make sure to have plenty of guns in case they have flares
Also add spreader guns, I've used guns to shoot down missiles
Captured 14cm AA: here
@TheUltimatePlaneLover I can get some heavy AA for anti-bomber and anti-airship duties
@CrestelAeronautics aight
Also today's news letter will come out by afternoon, I'll start working on it around 1:20 Pacific Time, so no need to rush, take your time and set it up well
Also, RED team (from Red v Green) has offered to give us a few F-2A Inferno fighters and immobilized M5A Gravity AA tanks, looks like we're getting the good stuff
@TheUltimatePlaneLover I can set up AA

@CrestelAeronautics Sweet
Also, the SPEAR F-16, F-91 Hunterplane X, XF-60 Tailflak, Firework, and all F-11 Draconian variants preceding the F-11Y3 will likely not participate in the Snowstone raids, the XF-60 and Firework being saved for later due to their low numbers, the F-91 and pre-F-11Y3 variants of the Draconian being used to defend our Krakabloa HQ, and SPEAR F-16 on a special mission at the moment which only I, him, and my two adopted children know about (Flying T-34 and MiG-15). However, the B-9B, Ohioan Sabre, Switcharoo Box Tank, and Da Tunk will likely join the Snowstone Siege soon, most likely Days 4-5.
As for the PF-19 and Skyrocket Drone, the PF-19 will not participate in Snowstone as most are undergoing Topper-than-Top Gun training at our new HQ (studies show that the PF-19 actually is fully capable of fighting and defeating modern opponents, meaning that it all comes down to the pilot), meanwhile the Skyrocket likely won't be used in the Snowstone setting yet, simply because my first and only attempt to used them ended in failure, with the two drones running out of fuel and the Catalina being shot down by the Ice Base, darn missile launcher... however, once we remove the Ice Base from the equation, I can guarantee that the Skyrocket will be popping up more and more...
@Dracul0Anderson Also the "no military presence" was actually a good thing, it means I see no valid reason to wage war on Sky Park City
@CrestelAeronautics Speedhunter enters the war, several strikes on Snowstone, introduction of TVT-FT and IS-3 (first Monarchii tank if I'm correct), rising threats from SPC (Sky Park City), debut of the F-67G Extinctor, Modernized B-25 Mitchell, Da Tunk, possible return of the adopted MiG-15 and A-40 Havoc II, both the serious one and the Ohio Sigma version, and more news regarding our new base at Krakabloa. We need to set up AA defenses, both mobile and stationary, and I'm definitely not going to turn the B-29 into an absolute death machine.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
I can build a base, if that will give my nation legitimacy
"no military presence", ha >:(...
@TheUltimatePlaneLover What will tommorow’s paper be about?
@TheUltimatePlaneLover, @Mousewithamachinegun122, I have more tank variants, we can take back Snowstone
@Graingy ok
@CrestelAeronautics See comment below.
@Graingy a h
@Graingy postimages
@TheUltimatePlaneLover ok, I’ll leave it for now
@TheUltimatePlaneLover Oh. So it takes an extremely long time,
And isn't Postimages the one we're not "supposed to" use, since it doesn't work in some countries or something?
@CrestelAeronautics still though what did Skypark do wrong, they have 0 military presence and unless you make a downloadable mini base then I don't think there ever will be
