[Monarchii War] Day 4 - Adversaries! Sea Strikes! Artillery! CAS! Explosions! Tanks! Nose Art??

Day 4 of the Monarchii War, and more help has arrived!

Here's your news update, I'll try to do this every day! No guarantees, but I will try my best!
Definitely 100% unbiased

Four days into the Monarchii War already?! Yes, four days! And things are finally calming down...
SIKE! A WAR DOESN'T LAST FOUR DAYS!!! THINGS ARE JUST GETTING STARTED!
Jokes aside though, this war's end is not in the foreseeable future, and today's first article doesn't help make it any closer.

Starting with the biggest, peakest news of the day, Monarchii gains MORE allies! Along with ChaseRacliot supplying Tu-22s and Tu-95s to Monarchii, two other supporters of Snowstone, HanakoSan and LunarEclipseSP, haven't taken kindly to the massive bloodshed on Snowstone (except no humans are directly involved with fighting aside from sideline commanders and repair crews so how can there be blood???). As such, they've chosen to provide support to the defender of Snowstone, Monarchii. This support includes Thairung Humvees and the first naval units of the war, including a modernized Yamato which wreaked havoc on ground forces early in the morning. Official report says that five M49A3s, four TVT-100s, one NVN-100, and an M81A1 were destroyed in the attack. However, two rumors are circulating around this attack, one suggesting that an M-99 was damaged, although not destroyed, and the other claiming that three Syrian Hell Cannons, one AI Kanone, and a Monarchii IS-3 were destroyed by friendly fire from and during the Yamato attack. Although Monarchii Forces provided proof that no IS-3s had been destroyed up until this point, one still appeared to be slightly damaged by Yamato fire, and no comments were made about the artillery weapons.

However, don't think things are going too perfect for Monarchii. In fact, today marks one of their biggest losses of the war.
Early in the morning today, the MGLA launched their largest concentrated attack yet, starting with two IJN Tutorial Planes making an attack on the famed Ice Base. Both planes hit with accuracy and power, severely damaging the Ice Base. Its defenses were damaged, albeit still functioning, but weakened nonetheless. That's when the real attack begins. Directly following the kamikaze Tutorial Planes was the Flying T-34-76, two improved Super Bombers, and the MiG-15bis. The Flying T-34-76 opened the attack with several shots to the Ice Base and its defenses, shortly followed by the Super Bombers who devastated the hangar region, making it impossible for any aircraft to land or take off. The MiG-15bis strafed the Ice Base a little bit, but was primarily stationed to defend the bombers and shoot down any enemy aircraft, although no resistance faced the raid except for one MiG-125 which was quickly downed in a joint effort from the Flying T-34, MiG-15, and tail gunner of a Super Bomber. Once this first phase had finished, three P-10B Pointers made their assault on the base. Surprisingly, the Ice Base was still able to fight back, as most damage was done to the unarmed part of the Ice Base, and was able to shoot down one of the P-10Bs, but the other two delivered their payload, with one landing devastating shots, while the other kamikazed into the Ice Base in honor of the IJN Tutorial Planes who had been the vanguards of the attack. The Ice Base still stood and fought back even after all this, but the MGLA wouldn't let it slide. Finally, two F/A-32 Strikers and three SK-3s were sent to finish off the Ice Base. The final five aircraft dealt fatal blows that ultimately destroyed the Ice Base, which had been a key headquarters throughout the first three days of the war.

One of the F/A-32s, dubbed "The Plush Attack," and one of the SK-3s, dubbed "Spring Heat," move in for the kill on the Ice Base. Fun fact: the F/A-32 involved was piloted by the best friend of Sgt. Scusus A. Mugus, one of the F/A-32 pilots shot down by the Ice Base, and the SK-3 was actually the first one to ever be deployed during the war, but was temporarily named "Spring Heat" for the sake of this battle as a sort of joke to "melting the Snowstone Ice Base." To this day, not a single SK-3 has ever been shot down or lost to enemy causes, although one was damaged on a rough landing.

With the Ice Base destroyed, the MGLA has been trying its best to take advantage of the threat now defeated. Their ground offensive has been ramping up as well as more aircraft arriving to assist the MGLA.

FUN FACT TIME! Crestel tanks such as the TVT-100 or NVN-100 lack flares, making them sitting ducks when it comes to missiles. So how have they been so rarely destroyed in spite of having no countermeasures? Well, a simple solution really: never leave them alone! Their small size has made it easy if not already preferable to make them travel in groups with larger tanks, in which case they often are able to travel with tanks that DO have countermeasures, such as the M49 or Da Tunk pictured above.

MiG-15bis encountered no bandits during the Ice Base Raid, but sometime after he got his anti-climactic rematch with the Harrier, with the Harrier running out of weapons to attack with, but the MiG-15bis not being able to outmaneuver the Harrier, eventually resulting in the same ending as last time.

An Su-78 wasn't nearly as fortunate in its run-in with a Monarchii Harrier, being able to dodge two missiles, only to die to the third.

Now, onto home sweet home- sort of, at least. The MGLA has been improving their Krakabloa base and bringing in more aircraft. They've also set up their first official anti-aircraft weapons, deeming Yeager somewhat safe from air raids. The B-29 has been getting upgrades, and the Plopter captured by CrestelAeronautics forces still has a questionable future, but at least for now it has been marked with symbols to distinct it as an MGLA-owned aircraft. Rumor also has it that a new plane may have arrived to the MGLA. Little is known about this claim, but one image of the alleged aircraft was saved.

SPEAR F-16 has finally arrived! Looks like he wants to say something.

Clearly it must be important, Flying T-34 has also showed up... behind her we can see two TVAA-20s and an M5A Gravity.

Some things are better left unexplained for now...

That's all the news for today! Check back in tomorrow for the next news update! Farewell and stay safe out there!

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG The Eel Protectorate may be ragtag, but there's a pretty big reason why I've stressed to Guywhobuildsstuff not to pose a serious threat.
I'd have nothing to do with that, unfortunately.
I never get to use any of the fun stuff :(

No, no, you'd never pull that on a Graingy aircraft.

@Graingy nope, that was a typing error, the Candygram is safe with the Monarchii Forces lol
I'm not a hypocrite, I would never intentionally pull a Tu-4 on any plane, not even Monarchii aircraft

    @MonarchiiwithastolenMG Probably.
Issue is, it seems the MGLA is already flying it?

anyway, now that you mention it, I guess I'm thinking with my prawn mind or something, since it's a cargo, I could probably use it to haul some MLRS to Snowstone
