Overview

John Prinkleton, also known as Jane Prinkleton for the female counterpart, is the main protagonist and the player character of BIG Simple RIGS, Whose gender and appearance is decided by the player (male or female), they acts as a trucker of his/her family's trucking company. Gender won't change or affecting the core of the story. Moreover, John & Jane are literally same person. But in the canonical way, Prinkleton or the protagonist is a male.

Appearance

John is shown to have brown hair, covered in his trucker cap that written "BORN 2 TRUCK". He wears a white t-shirt and blue overall.

As a female, known as Jane Prinkleton

However, his female counterpart has no different with him except she has elongated hair and pink-ish lips, and also a feminime face and body rebuild.

Backstory

John is a logistic driver of his family trucking company named Prinkleton Family Trucking Inc, located in Beckford, a fictional prefecture-like city. John drives a Mike Eren roadtrain truck. Eventually he compete with other infamous and notorious truckers in Beckford city, until he meet with Calvin Cunningham and he challenged him for a wild truck race. John however loses against Calvin and he had to lose a race and his truck.

Eventually, he was taken custody by Beckford City Civil Protection, a security force act as a law enforcement or police force in Beckford city. Long after John got "rescued" by his uncle known as Uncle Bob, John released from prison due to lack of evidence. With the help of Uncle Bob and in order to get his truck back, John later involved at the wild trucking competition held at Beckford. Over there, he meet and compete with many truckers around the city to prove themself who is the best and who deserved to rule the road of Beckford.

Personality

John is controlled by the player, so it depend on the player how they're playing as him (or her if the player played as Jane). Canonically, John is a humble person, but very serious about trucking, and occasionally he can be an outlaw and can wreck a havoc in the street with his big rig, breaking the rule, and involved in a chase by the security force. It could be concluded that John is much like a "heroic criminal".

John works in his family trucking company as a logistic driver. Originally owned by his father until he passed away, the trucking company now moved and run by his mother.

Uncle Bob
Uncle Bob taught and train his nephew to being a trucker. He is also helps John to get out from his inmate time. In John's childhood, he ever get on a truck ride with his uncle. Uncle Bob act as a trainer figure for John. But in some occasion, John can actually challenge him for a race or show-off (proving ground challenge).

Opponents/rivals

Calvin Cunningham
After his lose against Calvin, John lose both his rights and his truck. After defeating so many tuckers in the wild trucking contest, he finally managed to challenged and defeat Calvin, resulting John to finally took back everything that Calvin stole from him, and take revenge on him.

Mr. Wao Shen
Mr. Wao Shen, a chinese old man who revealed to be the long arc rival of Prinkleton family and their trucking company. John and Mr. Shen is really competitive and rivalry against each other.

Dorris
Dorris is John's heaviest rival, because of his high ego and his hatred towards him and his family. He believes that John would destroy both his career and reputation. Dorris really hates Prinkleton really much, he hate them with passions and vengeance.

Trivia

• John and Jane are same person. If the player plays as male protagonist, they will go with John. But when the player plays as female protagonist, they will go with Jane.
• The concept of this customizable gender character is inspired from Jesse from Minecraft: Story Mode and Aki from Misao.
• In the actual thing, the protagonist character is customizable to make it MMORPG-ish. It is also similar to the player's avatar in Initial D Arcade Stage.
• The protagonist's default appearance is they wearing a blue trucker cap, white t-shirt, and blue overall.
• The trucker cap that they wearing is inspired from the same trucker cap from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
