The Fillet-class is an armed trawler in service with the MWBS since the 23rd of March 2024. One vessel has been launched, with more under construction. The total number planned to be built is currently classified.
As an armed trawler its primary duties are the recovery of car batteries from the ocean, the MWBS's prize, while protecting itself and its escorts from attacks by the Eel Protectorate.
The ships are heavily armed for their size and have a crew of fifteen.
The vessels are 37.5m long, have a beam of 5m (MGs stowed), and is 11.5m tall keel to top of the mast.
Displacement has not been measured.
The ships are propelled by two 93 kW diesel engines, permitting a top speed of 17 kn in good weather.
The ships have no defined end to service life and are expected to be converted to civilian duties once hostilities end.
