Day 9, the storm rages on, but help is on the way in every aspect!
Today's news update, as usual
The heck is bias
Once again, today's article focuses on Snowstone. The storm has made reporting harder, no doubt, but it's been possible nonetheless. With this in mind, let's skip straight to the news.
Starting behind the scenes today, the MGLA and Monarchii have agreed to a treaty to rest, rebuild, and provide humanitarian support to the residents of Snowstone. This treaty also introduced a temporary cease-fire and the indefinite removal of several aircraft, mostly on the MGLA side, which are considered too overpowered or meme-like.

One of the first A-40s to leave Snowstone finishes his naval patrol, hoping to avoid Monarchii ships
A-40B 83060 successfully departs from Snowstone
However, prior to the said treaty, the MGLA didn't appear to be pulling any punches just yet, even with the fog. Just hours before the treaty was passed, 83013 dropped what may have been the last bombs dropped by an A-40 in the war. The C-19 also delivered the first AMX-10M to the scene, but so far it has yet to inflict any damage to Monarchii forces. However, the real action that happened was actually regarding the LAGWING Supercarrier; rumor about some "indirect attack" had been circling around, and we finally know precisely what. Sometime after the treaty, TUPL conducted an indiscriminate attack over Snowstone using massive "dazzlers" on the Lagwing, which essentially served as a pseudo-EMP that damaged electronics all over the island. Some civilians were effected by this strike, but for the most part it hit military targets.

However, even more news has come out of the MGLA, specifically regarding TUPL. The statement can only be said word for word, so here it is:
"I have been toying with the idea of retiring from the war, and I think that by Day 12, I actually will. If I'm being honest, it's due to a variety of reasons, but to keep it simple and to avoid becoming to demoralizing, I'll just say the two main ones.
The first reason should be quite understandable, not just because of basic logic, but also because it's the same reason the treaty was made in the first place- I'm tired. I'm approving newspapers, fighting two wars at once, shipping in new weapons for both sides, then destroying them, and actually living a life all at the same time. It's anything but easy to balance.
And the second reason, I've just been a little down lately. Maybe I'll come back once I have some time recharge and get the engine running again.
Now, there are some exceptions. First of all, I'm still going to be publishing the papers for the news writers. Secondly, any weapons that I have provided up to this point will continue to serve in the war. And third, my retirement is indefinite, but neither confirmed nor permanent. As I said at the beginning, I've only been on the edge of retirement, not actually reaching it, and even if I do retire, I can't guarantee that I'll stay down.
With all this in mind, I bid you all best of luck."
