Any advice for my first airplane replica?

1,891 Kurtcobain69  8 months ago

The plane I am trying to replicate is the h-75 A-2, which is why this post is making it difficult for me. Any ideas/suggestions/advice to give?

Yeah, makes sense to start with thorough research and study of all available resources related to the H-75 A-2. This includes studying the aircraft's history, performance, aerodynamic features and technical data. Try to find detailed drawings or pictures of the aircraft from different angles to better understand its shape and design. Look to the model building or aviation enthusiast community for tips and tricks on accurately recreating the H-75 A-2.

    Use blueprints, drawings, not photo’s.
    *
Make sure it has a top, side, and front view.
    *
Do not overcomplicate it, try something simple.
    *
When you think it gets easy, step it up. When it’s too hard to do, shelf the project and start building a different aircraft. when you are done with that one, go back to the unfinished craft and try to finish it, repeat.
    *
You do not need to make it 1*1, you can scale after with fine tuner

    1:(actual craft length)*(your craft length)= scale factor

Get some reference images of that specific plane, like every angle is valuable.

Use it. With plane blueprints, so that you can get the plane to look exactly how it should.

Do you know how to use the blueprint menu inside of simple planes?

@Dracul0Anderson I do use a map to see if everything is okay but it is being difficult.

Use blueprints, they'll give you the best accuracy. Make sure to check the orientation of said blueprint though, sometimes they're tilted slightly, and if so, use a photo editor to straighten it.
