Week 3: Tensions are rising. Again.
The weekly news update, that people surprisingly asked for!
And unbiased as always!
So far, the fighting in the Monarchii War has slowed down just a bit. Between the new, threatening factions, the hurricane on the MGLA homebase, and the Anti-OP/Meme Treaty requiring some heavy re-strategizing on both sides The Monarchii and The MGLA have seen very little combat with each other. Instead, they've been developing their technologies, and training their crews to have maximum effect.

However, little combat doesn't mean no combat. The MGLA did conduct a small strike against Wright, consisting of several AC-50s, AC-110s, and even a few A-40Bs. Although the number of A-40Bs in total is quite high, the number of A-40Bs available to the MGLA is staggeringly low. Three are still damaged and undergoing repairs after being attacked by the leader of the NMR, who now goes by the name "Takusha," but two were trapped due to damages dealt to the MGLA homebase between the hurricane and infamous Skypark-to-Yeager attack. TUPL even had to opt to provide a few more A-40Bs so they would at least have four functional, being that five of the original six remainders are out of service for the time being. The currently operating ones now are: 83013, 83029, 83060, and 83055. 83013 and 83060 have been stationed to protect the MGLA's homebase should another assault come from any of the new or old foes of the Liberator Allies, but 83029 and 83055 were the ones used in a three-day strike mission against Wright earlier this week. AC-40s had also attacked Wright and Skypark, but a few were captured by NMR forces. We'll talk about that in the next section, I promise.

Another AC-50 delivers some bombs to Wright
As promised, it's time to talk about the new and upcoming threat: Skypark (OK I promise this time we'll talk about those AC-40s in the next section, this section is all text anyways). The nation of Skypark, following its attack on the MGLA HQ, has been building its forces to become even stronger and prepared for attacks from the MGLA, threatening to release power weapons like Iron Giants and, allegedly, nuclear warfare. However, they did at least give the MGLA some chill during the hurricane, letting the storm to most of the damage rather than bomb Yeager themselves.
However, what no one was prepared for was the rising of the NMR. Supposedly, they've been capturing vehicles, aircraft, and even on rare occasions ships from other nations, and converting them to the NMR. What do we mean by convert? We don't know, how would we? They didn't give us an inside leak on how their conversion methods work (yet). However, we do at least know a few things, big things that should be a concern of everyone involved with the Monarchii War.
First things first, we've already said it, but we should get into better detail: The NMR will not hesitate to either destroy or convert enemy units. Excluding the original defectors, they've managed to convert, according to their respective nations, 9 F-11Y1s, 1 F-11Y2, 5 FA-32s, 2 Plopters, 4 Harriers, 1 IS-3, 4 M49A3s, 2 AH-25s, 5 S23As, 4 AC-40s, and the one and only A-40A Havoc II, not to be confused with its upgraded, mass-produced derivative, the A-40B Havoc II. They've also captured the USS Beast, its Destroyers, and apparently the USS Tiny. Takusha has expressed plans to make the USS Beast the homebase of the NMR for the time being, but whether this happens or not is unknown.
Second things second, the NMR has declared war on Cobrastan, another rebel nation involved in the Monarchii War. This was almost unsurprising, considering the state and norms of the M-War, but regardless we still asked their leaders why, and we finally got to hear from Mitchell, the MiG-15bis, who said "Cobrastan is annoying and stoop, I bet their entire military could get clapped by half an A-40B, that's why we're waging war on them." So, in a more simple way of speaking, the NMR is just tired of Cobrastan and wants them out of the way. They've also said they have plans to wage war on the Monarchii, due to the attack on the USS Tiny (which was, according to The Monarchii, an indiscriminate training and weapons test activity), but according to Takusha, they'll deal with Cobrastan first and wage war on the Monarchii later.
And third of all, it might be best to stay out of the NMR's way for two reasons. The first being that they have no chill, and their power is increasing by the day, but the second being they might actually benefit all parties of the war. One of the two Face-class M-99 Tank Destroyers was corrupted into a menace known as the Thermonuclear Psychopath, which has proved a terror to anyone on the ground, and even some forces in the sky. The NMR has not only expressed intent to take him down, but has actually acted on their said intentions. Initially, they attempted to counter the TNP with his brother and counterpart, Manface, but this wasn't as successful as hoped, and even with upgrades, both sides were heavily damaged, but with Manface seeming to be the less favored one. Regardless, the NMR hasn't given up, and has sent two tanks, M49A3 "Cy" and the KV-2 "Ivan" to intercept and destroy the Thermonuclear Psychopath once and for all.
An AC-40, converted to the NMR, opens its bomb bay doors over Krakabloa. Allegedly, according to the MGLA officials, this was just an intimidation tactic, and no bombs were dropped. However, both members of the NMR and eyewitnesses from the MGLA would beg to differ

@Dracul0Anderson Red V Green restarts soon, get ready
@SPairforce Allegedly I was wrong, it did end after all.
The Monarchii vanished, Cobrastan was never a real threat, the war ended before the NMR could unleash their super weapons, the MGLA has regained the Machine Gun so we've basically won, and Skypark doesn't really have anyone left to attack them, so...
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
I'm stil in the mood for war, since it's been a while from when the last war challenge happened and I got bored.
I'm interested in this Red vs Green war.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
Huh, interesting.
How long do you think this conflict will last?
@Dracul0Anderson The Monarchii War isn't over yet, but unless everyone gets a sudden spark of energy, motivation, and/or rage, this week will certainly be the last one, with all sides tiring out, and the heat of the war getting colder by the day. Think the M-War will make it to the 30-31 day mark?
Also, I actually have plans for when the Monarchii War is finished, it seems people like my ERB: SimplePlanes version, as well as the "Way too Many Flares Series" (it'll be even more repetitive than the flying tanks, but at least there will be variation, e.g. Project Flareman will include a remote controlled drone, Flare Thunder Mobile will be a ship and/or tank, World of Warflares will probably be very clearly WWII based). I'm also gonna get back into the Red V Green war, which is essentially a "series" I made myself with official lore, storyline, other stuff, etc., both out of genuine interest for it as well as hoping that Majakalona will be less rude towards me :v
I might also spam everyone with cookies and upvotes to heal the wounds of the M-War.
@SPairforce The alleged MGLA super weapon is named "Snivel"
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
Good to know. And having a fare and bias-free comparison of my stuff vs some pre-establish work is sorta my thing.
New topic, since the whole Monarchii War seems to be over, wanna have a week to chill out from all this and, I dunno, start something new? 🤔
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
Given that people will put pictures of Anime Girls onto their vehicles, this isn't too surprising.
@SPairforce An enemy nation can now turn our war machines into anime girls.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
I doubt anything would surprise me at this point, it really doesn't take much to trigger an all-out war.
@SPairforce You probably could, but I'm warning you, this started off as a joke, and now it's sort of mayhem.
@Dracul0Anderson You absolutely could, but no Skypark bias (in other words, don't seize the opportunity to say that an A-40B was shot down by a missile, the speed, maneuverability, and other-worldly firepower of the A-40B are why it doesn't need flares, so it would take an equal gunfighter to bring it down)
Can I join?
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
Do you care if I remove the A-40B's flares for battles(for updates)? You said so yourself they don't really need them.
@Yourlocalhuman
Just wait
There is more coming
I didnt expect alot from you, so might as well quit the game
@Yourlocalhuman However, there is a reason for that. The Monarchii has struggled on the ground game a lot, so any ground contributions to them are incredibly important.
That, and the delay of the others may or may not have to do with ADFX-001 and SPEAR F-16's "Special Mission"
@Yourlocalhuman Just wait, just wait...
I sent like alot of stuff yet ones noticed is only my T-72 ripoff smhh
@TheUltimatePlaneLover oh ok
@CrestelAeronautics Yes I will
By month, I mean 30-31 days
@TheUltimatePlaneLover gonna make a 1 month aneversary for the M-War
@TheUltimatePlaneLover ya, I know
