THIS JUST IN: The Tactical Forces Military has declared total conflict against the Siren Fleet currently docked at the Royal Monarchii Port in the Wright Midlands as the vessels open fired upon civilian structures and settlements with their energy-based weapons. The death toll is still largely unknown but it can be assumed that it had already reached catastrophic numbers.
Citizens living close to Wright Airbase were jolted by the sudden blaring of their raid sirens. Witnesses capture fighters of the famed 51st Combat Wing, known by their nickname "The Glorious Greentails", taking off by the dozens on the runways of the airbase to respond to this sudden attack.

@Speedhunter hell, if you know basic hull physics, the larger the ship is, usually the more they can be faster(this is referred to as Hull Speed, and larger ships typically have a bigger hull speed due to physics), the only problem is powerplant and propulsion, but knowing it's the sirens.... a 40 knot battleship isn't out of the question, and hell, with enough power, you can make a battleship go into the "planing" which basically means riding over the water, and thus, hydrofoils lmao
