I genuinely miss around like 2021 when there were just a bunch of Gundam showing up every two weeks or so.. I was there for it.
In my experience burnout and the increasing complexity was what shot it down for me.. I'd love to get back at it someday I reckon, but it feels like there'd be so much to catch up with.

can't consider myself as a pro-mecha-oriented-builder, but i experimented much with the mechanical "things". Through years i've made some things and now i'm just remaking them according to my new skills...
Will upload such stuff as soon as it's completed.

I'm considering getting back into mecha building, especially since IanYashima is gone. I always yearned to make mecha like his.

@FOXHOUND26 Took me a while too. In fact, I'm not even sure how some of the FT I use works. I just know that if I replace some numbers here and there, it does this certain thingy

@KudaOni I would experiment with ft but I have no clue how it works

@FOXHOUND26 That's what I've been doing the entire time actually... Couldn't really ask for help in discord asides from the occasional FT questions.

To add: I even go as far as experiment on the codes so it takes a long while before I actually get a working product. My mechs aren't exactly at the previous mech builder's level though.

And one of the problems new mech builders can’t get help from the old ones and have to reverse engineer them

Ian yashima dipped after they announced that there would be no more updates since he felt he had reached his limit with current SimplePlanes but will probably come back for SP2

@KudaOni The number of tank builders also decreased greatly, there were RussianAce, sakkijarven, MrVaultech, sh0rpo and others.
And the community of builders of futuristic and Sci-fi builds is also almost dead.

There were more too. But yeah I do get why they got burntout...

It was mostly YanYashima and other platinum players, but many were either busy IRL or burned out on SP.
