Hello everyone, with a new year and an Eclipse that just happened along with, (besides my ratings) Quite a lot of inactivity between posts, I just wanted to tell my plans for the next, 4 years and ask how the Eclipse went for everyone and share my experience,
So how was the Eclipse for everyone, did anyone see totality?
When I went to go see it luckily it was only about 30 minutes away (15 miles) once we were in the totality zone we began looking for a place to park, the local state park looked nice but there was about 2,000 cars at two singular park shelters so to say that it was packed was an understatement, so as we looked around we found it, the perfect spot; shade trees, nice turf, 1000ft from the 2,000 car state park and most importantly there was only 6 cars there, truly a perfect spot: A Grave Yard. From the 19th century. So we parked in the free lawn space and I setup my 800$ telescope that we bought from a guy 7 years ago for the great price of 200$ (he just wanted a bigger one so he sold that one, probably his wife made him get rid of it lol) anyhow telescope setup glasses from the 2017 Eclipse on, we began watching, but there was 2 problems. One, remember those 6 cars, yea traffic overflows and before we knew it there was 60 cars instead of 6 and Two, the Long/Lat finder's clicker was not working for the auto find and track so we had to sight it in manually, good luck with that, I say that because believe it or not trying to find the sun through a 99% block filter is harder than you think so in the end, our 200$ investment from 7 years ago could not really be used, so come totality when it came to what was the select choice a 800$ telescope or a phone?, Yep you guessed it although it seemed to work out in the end kinda as this is a pic I got:
Not the best but could have been worse I suppose.
Now for the Profile Update:
As stated I have been not uploading/uploaded for long periods of time and the reason is a 255 hour project that I'm actually done with and have worked on for 9 months but the problem comes to mind in creating a YouTube for the teaser of it and the GuyFolk style video editing for it.
Now with this in mind there are a few changes, first off I am trying to log my Followers, Upvotes per month, and Views on works with hit counters, and I am doing this for reasons that will be stated in the "Profile Update 2/2" but as for the release dates, strap in because someones about to get let down...
After I release my 255 hour creation in Cough* May or July, I will then be, drum roll please... Not Uploading for 1-2 years. Yep that's right, well not completely if there's a fun challenge here or there and if my boredom gets to me I may upload something but otherwise I will not Upload anything for 1-2 years because I will be working on the "Impossible Project" were talking like Yamato type impossible where when it's done about 7k parts maybe Modding (Idk how that would work with my "MobileBuilder" fact, Extensive Recording and of course Building along with coding. When it's done, and I understand this figure depends on you guys but I'm estimating that there will be about 1000 Upvotes between the 7, Yes 7 Creations, and as always thank you and see you guys in 2-3 months and 1-2 years :/...
JK... Kinda, like I said I will probably Upload small creations and I will always continue my ratings of course there will be some changes due to stuff like SP2 and I might waver a bit from what I said but for the most part I hold true, thank you and MB21 out.
Also if the Post version of this announcement was in your Jet Stream but is inaccessible, that's because it may or may not have gotten removed and reposted lol, still served it's purpose though.
