Did you know that when you lock on a air (or ground) target you can switch to a ground (or air) weapon and it will maintain a lock?

Here are some photos of my F-35A proving this!

    @RobertsAeronautics what it's showing is that I locked on to the tanker with a AAM then switched to a AGM and it retained the lock.

    @Maverick09 Can you explain in more detail? All I see from the screenshots is a missile hitting a tanker. Is the lock maintained on the original target, or the new target?

    @TheMouse technically accurate because irl you can use an AMRAAM (an air-to-air missile) against ground targets by locking and “dry firing.”

    @Majakalona, the weapon is a custom GBU-12 Paveway II. It was made by @ReinMcDeer. Here I used it on my F-35A. (Click blue text)
