The SRX or Superstar racing Experience is a series first started by racing legends ray evernham and Tony Stewart, and as of a few months ago being sold to the skip barber racing school. The series is a modern interpretation of the IROC series from the early 2000s where they bring racing legends from all over the world to drive in one off races. Drivers to come into the series include Tony Stewart, Marco andretti, Matt kenseth, Willie t ribbs, many current nascar and indy car drivers, and many local short track legends.
The car is ment to be high horsepower with low downforce and provides quite good racing on small town 1/2 mile short tracks. The cars are run on both asphalt and dirt giving a wide variety of racing styles for the racers. Popular tracks include eldora speedway, Knoxville raceway, Berlin raceway, and the Nashville fairgrounds speedway.
