On May 15th 2024 N817NA a 37 Year old Douglas DC-8-72 Made it’s way from Edwards AFB To Pocatello Regional Airport on it’s final flight today as a part of NASA Retiring it and replacing it with Boeing 777-200ER, and as of May 15th 2024 Samaritans Purse (A Humanitarian Aid Organisation) is the only sole Operator of ithe DC-8 left in the United States
