Hello all!
Thanks so much for the upvotes and downloads on my T-8D. I took a long time working on it, and I'm very proud of the end result.
Right now, I have a lot of planes that are semi-ready, but one is much more semi-ready than the others (lol).
This is my T-32E 'Piglet', a lightweight single seat, single engine CAS aircraft. I originally wanted to remake my T-17, but ended up with this twin boom design instead (on a side note, I have noticed a lot more twin boom designs on the site recently 👀).
Really all I wanted to do with this plane was to make it fairly realistic in flying well at low speeds, having a good loiter time, and carrying a decent amount of armament.
I also wanted to make a better pylon cluster (definitely not what they're called, but you know what I mean), because my previous designs bend when you pull mid-high Gs, which didn't look very nice (and isn't super realistic). Right now I've got this, which is completely made up of fuselage cylinders (whereas the previous design had a structural wing for the main body-type part). It's much better functionality wise, and is a bit lighter than the previous iteration (and looks better/more realistic).
I'm happy with how the main body, wing area, and canopy are looking, and all I have to do now is start on the inside cockpit area.
I'm also messing around with a different paint scheme, with one wing section a different, more bold color and the other plain, which you can see in the photo
I'm gonna try and get this plane done before I keep on working on my T-29C or other projects (though I have gotten some progress on the -29C build, but I'll do a separate update for it at some point).
