F-14A Tomcat V3.0 (4) / F-14B Tomcat V2.0
I also finished up the AIM-54C. Here's a six Phoenix loadout.
I was about to add the LANTIRN and GBU's to the F-14A when suddenly I realized I had never seen an image of an F-14A with both glove vanes and the LANTIRN and GBU's, which is because the F-14 wasn't cleared to drop bombs until the 90's when the last squadrons with glove vanes stopped using them. I still wanted the LANTIRN and GBU's though and it wouldn't be worth making a separate late F-14A build, so I had to ditch the glove vanes and make a later A-variant. Except I didn't.
Some bombers about to have a very bad day.
A la Heatblur, I decided to also make an F-14B, which I plan on releasing at the same time.
I went with the VF-103 livery for the F-14B with white markings.
The F-14A will have exclusively air-to-air loadouts since it was meant to represent an 80's F-14A (hence, the glove vanes) and the F-14B will have the LANTIRN and GBU-12/24 Paveway II/III. That way, I can get glove vanes, ground attack capability, and as a bonus, a B-variant Tomcat.
The main visual difference between the F-14B and F-14A are the new engines, the F110-GE-400. They provide significantly more thrust than the TF30's and give the F-14B greatly improved acceleration.
Clean, the F-14A sits at 489 parts and the F-14B at 491, but with weapons, they both exceed 600 parts. I still need to make the LANTIRN and GBU-24, since I made a detour making the F-14B, but other than that, everything else is more or less done.
@ReinMcDeer Please do the F/A-18C.
@ReinMcDeer yippee! :D
@TheCommentaryGuy It's not pictured here, but I did make the LAU-138 :)
@TwoTurboMan 65 km (All the missiles in the WBD have a reduced range)
@ReinMcdeer what’s the max range (in-game) for the AIM-54?
@ReinMcDeer if you wanna, you can add the LAU-138 on the F-14B. Basically the AIM-9 rails but with 160x chaff each
you spoil us. two f-14 variants to mess around with at the same time is going to be fun. lots of work for my liveries though...

@TheCommentaryGuy I use the numbers from war thunder for thrust and G-load, so it's ~14000 N of thrust and 16 max G load. Since they're so heavy, they also take a long time to accelerate. Launching at as high of a speed as possible also helps give a headstart for the missile.
will the phoenixes have an accurate thrust and g load?

Do you have any plans on a gripen or typhoon update? Also T
