Some Things I Want to See

Some things I want to see in the sequel to Simpleplanes (or at least some things that I think would make Simpleplanes 2 a better quality experience)

Yes, I know it's a little early for suggestions, I just wanted to share some things that I'd personally like to see in the game.

Firstly, A building system that combines the versatility of flyout's building system with Simpleplanes' modifiable fuselage blocks.

I'm not suggesting a direct one to one of flyout's system, I'm saying I want the fuselage blocks we have in Simpleplanes to be more versatile, able to take more than 3-4 basic shapes, it would not only mean that more part intensive aircraft like F-22A's and F-35A's could cut their part counts down significantly, but it also means that fuselage cutting would be rendered obsolete.

Second, This is something I came up with myself, when I was saving a subassembly of a custom bomb that I had made, stick with me.

Why not have a "custom weapons" system, where you can make a custom bomb or missile, using separate parts, like say, a variable rocket motor, or custom missile fin. This is how it worked in my head;
(In this example, we're making a missile)
•You'd design your missile in the same way you would og simpleplanes. (minus the detatcher Part, ofc.)

•Then you'd pick from a range of customizable parts for the missile, (eg. Variable Rocket Motor, Variable Warhead (block(?), and Infrared Guidance System, Radar Guidance System, etc.) and put them into your custom missile.

•After messing with the parameters on the aforementioned parts, you'd save the missile like you would a subassembly but in the background, it would turn the missile into one single mesh, that has all the properties you put into it.

The immediate benefit I can see with a system like this, is it makes custom missiles and bombs less part intensive, it also makes building them more engaging, or "hands on" if that makes sense.

Let me know how any of you feel about this, if you agree or not.

On another note, I've had some issues with my creativity, I feel like I'm creatively exhausted, if that makes sense. There's some stuff I want to make, but still haven't cause I procrastinate, I have stuff I'm ready to post, but for some reason, I haven't, I don't really know why. Nevertheless, some advice would ofc be greatly appreciated.

Also, I think I'm gonna use this flag for the Sakura Empire instead, since it fits the Canon (I think) and plus, it's implied Nagato is the canonical Empress of the Sakura Empire, (Again, I think...) so I'm gonna use the banner design thats used when there is an empress. OH! and a new more intimidating and spooky motto,

All will bow before the seal!

Remember, I would greatly appreciate if anyone could give me advice for my creative motivation issue.

I designed the flag myself btw, :> It's supposed to be a Union flag, so its flown above the existing flag of a nation controlled by the Sakura Empire (eg. Its flown above the Taiwanese flag, or the Korean flag, because both those nations were captured by Imperial Japan.)

Yeah, that would be nice. No need for hiding wings inside of fuselage. But if they did a cross sectional editor, like in flyout, that would be just perfect.

@TheMouse mhm, I just hope if they take in that idea, that they'll at least try to mimic flyout's aerodynamic algorithm, so the body can produce its own lift.

Yeah. And it would mean that the total number of parts on builds could be significantly lowered.

@TheMouse oh yea, it'd be so convenient to!

Cool idea. I doubt it will be that detailed (at first anyway)but a way to group mesh parts would be awesome.
