Guys please just stop posting forums saying
“Sorry busy today no posting”
Like I’m sorry but literally nobody will care 💀💀💀
It clutters the forums but if you a person that is known and doesn’t have 5000 points then I guess it’s fine
But I think all of us have done it at least once
guys I'm so sorry that I only uploaded 2 instead of 3 planes today, I had a big lunch and I didn't have time to finish my other one I'm so sorry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
- A user that has like 600 points and all their planes are all unpainted and made in about 15 minutes and get about 1 upvotes every 12th aircraft
Here are my two cents.
While I can agree that some status update posts get cringe and unnecessary every once in a while, they have the liberty to do what they can so long as it doesn't break the rules and guidelines of this community. It does cause some form of clutter that covers more relevant or interesting forum posts, and that's a fact, but that's just them being what they are.
Now to the users this forum concerns:
Ask yourself first before you post stuff like this:
"Will this matter?"
No, no it won't. I'll answer that question now. No it won't. what goes on in your life and/or the frequency of your posting is none of our concern. If you can't post in any year or any time, that won't matter. Do it at your own pace. No one's pressuring you to post at X time with Y quality. If you're looking for fame, relevance, etc. it will come to you in time.
@SILVERPANZER yeah totally agree didn’t really think it over lmao
@spefyjerbf respectable. I hope all your work goes well. Have a good day brother.
@TTL Thanks! Every once in a while I’ll look back at my old builds too, just to see how they hold up. I haven’t designed anything in production quite yet, but I have coded up some computational design tools that will help an old customer of mine. I’m gonna stay vague though, since my field is pretty tightly knit, and I don’t wanna say anything too personally identifiable. Assembly/maintenance is quite interesting too — it is work that I would be absolutely awful at, so I gotta respect it
@spefyjerbf dang that’s crazy I actually didn’t expect you to do that! I’m doing Aircraft Maintenance(we’re just building the RV-12is). It’s gotta be fun to design them, I mean your builds are fun even to this age. Never ages bad.
@TTL Yep! My masters thesis was in conceptual design, using computer codes to get the gist of the aircraft’s capabilities before any detailed work is done. Fun stuff, that is actually quite a lot like SP
@spefyjerbf I’m guessing you’re one of them Aircraft engineers…Hope you're doing well though!
@TTL No projects are currently planned at the moment, since my job has sortof replaced SP at this point. It scratches the same itch, if that makes sense. I still lurk on the site every once in a while though!
@spefyjerbf I know this might be weird but are you gonna make any planes or is it over?
@TTL It’s fun to lurk every once in a while as a geriatric
@spefyjerbf damn the old man is still kicking
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 ty :D
@126 yes
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 anyways, is that a decent summary?
@126 Yes
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 let me guess, account points and fame, and why telling people that you're inactive is completely pointless and just clogs up the forums, and also an angry kid getting offended over your real as hell response comments?
@126 you would understand, but some comments got deleted
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 what in the actual fuck happened
5000 internet points is nothing.
This makes sense if you are very popular, make high-quality builds and have more than 50k-100k internet points.
And the most important thing is if you are leaving for a really long period of time, for example 3 months or more.
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Relatable lol
@Yeahsure I was going to add something else at the end but then I forgot what it was 💀
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 uhh ok
@Yeahsure I have done I’m leaving posts (I came back the next day)
@eaearthur015 Guys just chill everybody has done the I’m leaving posts At least once or twice it’s just a thing we do. Like look at my posts I have three or two there
