Today i was taking the trash disappointed then i look in and find a computer case i grabbed it and realized... Its a whole computer got a HP windows 7 pc i put my old HDD in there and im updating steam now soon ill be playing portal blueshift and gmod

@Talon7192 Then ensure that absolutely nothing on that computer is tied to anything of yours. I’m not expert on computer similarity, but I’d keep bank info/personal emails/main accounts/etc. off that thing.
The older those old systems get the more and more outdated their security is, the more vulnerable they are to cyberattack.
Personally, I’d isolate that thing as much as possible. Alts for everything (different Steam account, for example), just to be safe.

If there are any tech places or even a school, look in their bins occasionally if they are easy ish to get to, they sometimes swap all their computers, learning from experience, I salvaged 3 and a half (literally) and made one half decent one, never got a case for it as it wasn’t worth it and all the others were severely damaged, this was at a school I live close to (the school is notorious for bad IT despite being a secondary and they likely beat up the admin/teacher pcs to wipe the personal hdds)
i once spat mountain dew all over my Acer nitro 5 and probably spent 2-3 hours cleaning it so it was not sticky anymore
The fans started making flapping sounds sometimes after that
