Fifth Contact: Raider's Run

(Listen to me while reading)

0600H. Siren sisters Theta, Gamma, and Alpha sail together at the Sea of Wright. Their plan for the day: Initiate naval raids on Siren floating ports across the world. In retaliation for the sinking of Skypark's battleships, and the attack on the recently constructed Megafloat, the three rogue vessels mounted a global raiding run against the recently landed Blue Sirens. Fully charged and determined for their first joint offensive, the Watcher sisters jumped into hyperspace; arriving at their designated targets for their surprise attacks mere seconds after they had departed from Federation waters.

Watcher Theta jumped out of hyperspace, immediately landing hits upon a Siren port still under construction in the Barents Sea; with the Russian, British, Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish navies struggling to even have their hypersonic missiles make contact with the floating stronghold. Theta relentlessly bombarded the floating port with her missiles, cannons, and plasma turrets, along with annihilating the defending vessels and scattering many survivors with her terrifying display of power; her brutality once more serving as a ghastly reminder for the invaders of who she is, and why even the high command of the Hive exercise heightened caution from her presence alone. Theta would ravage the Barents Sea for 3 hours straight; leaving a wake of Siren blood and burning steel in the frigid waters of the North before disappearing and returning to Federation territories.

Watcher Gamma's escapade of violence and destruction would lead her from the Red and Arabian Sea, to the Persian Gulf, and into the Indian Ocean. Her vicious hunt for the Blue Sirens attracted much attention from the invaders, who sought to swarm and destroy her every chance they get. But through the many ambushes Gamma had deliberately, and accidentally sailed into, none were enough to permanently maim, or even damage her enough. She would destroy a total of three floating Siren ports, with hundreds of mass-produced units drifting dead in the waters by her hand after her 5 hours of non-stop fighting. Only then she returned to the Sea of Wright.

In contrast to the mission of her elder sisters, Watcher Alpha chose the more silent, low profile method by sinking her targets from a distance. The small Siren missile frigate would utilize her speed, agility, and size to hound and kill her enemies, while remaining unseen and undetected due to her wave scrambler and cloaking modules that greatly help in maintaining minimal presence in her assault. Though Watcher Alpha did not destroy any Siren ports during her runs in the waters of Southeast Asia, the assassinations she took instilled psychological trauma and lasting sense of dread across the Siren territories she operated in. Alpha would return to Wright after six hours of consistent stalking, gathering, and killing of her prey; all the while remaining unseen the entire time.

(Now listen to me next for this part)

The following week after the Watcher Sisters' global raids, Siren battleship Omitter would make her return to the Federation's waters, carrying with her a will of retaliation for the carnage caused by the rogue Sirens in their territories. She would be intercepted and immediately find herself in a once-in-a-lifetime standoff against the instigator of the Siren rebellion, and the greatest danger birthed by her own kind: Watcher Theta.

Theta and Omitter would begin trading hits after the former's unheeded warning. The first shots to be fired were from Watcher Theta, but the first to impact would be Omitter's; due to her main weapons being beam cannons in comparison to Theta's pulse phasers. Both would withstand the first exchange of firepower, and would take their fight into Krakabloan waters, soon escalating into a ferocious duel; a battle of the century that the whole world would witness firsthand through live coverage via UAV deployed by the TFM.

The duel between the two alien battleships would ultimately be won by the wounded, yet unyielding defender that is Watcher Theta. Having received immense damage after her armored hull's durability was overwhelmed by Theta's barrage of overcharged shots, Omitter limped away from Krakabloa, her devastated body trailing flames and ash as she weakly sailed and warped off to safer waters. Her fate remains unknown, for now.

In the Sea of Wright, Watcher Gamma would sense the duel between Theta and Omitter. Right as she was about to make a short hyperspace jump to Krakabloa to help her sister, Observer Zero made her presence known, Which, much to Gamma's delight, was something better; as she had been waiting for a Siren to enter their home waters for a fight. She would close in on Observer Zero to unleash her torrent of guided energy missiles, only to take Zero's beam cannons straight to her bow. Fortunately, Gamma pointed her directional shields fully forward fast enough to block the intense beam fired by her unexpected, but much welcomed opponent.

The moment Zero's weapons stopped firing, Watcher Gamma immediately launched a counter-salvo of Swarm missiles from her side-facing pods. Though these missiles weren't of the ordinary bunch. She overloaded the warheads of each of the active missiles with intense gamma radiation; giving them the capability to fully ignore Observer Zero's shields as gamma rays have extremely high penetration power; and can cause severe damage under prolonged exposure. Zero would quickly realize this and make a fast escape to prevent her body from suffering rapid decay under Watcher Gamma's powerful, heavily irradiated missiles.

Facing an incoming mass Siren assault in Skypark's southern waters, Watcher Alpha responded to the alerts; making her way to the small nation in it's defense against the attack, especially since they have barely recovered from the loss of their battleships against Omitter a week prior. Alpha would speed across the surrounding seas; precisely and efficiently fending off the assault alongside the national defense forces of Skypark. As the battle raged on, the numbers of the attacking Sirens would increase. Alpha was gradually getting overwhelmed by the sheer numbers swarming the waters. Her growing stress would be relieved by the arrival of the TFMGAC's famed 51st Combat Wing, led by the premier, venerable fighting ace of the 21st century, and a hailed master of the legendary F-22E Shadow Raptor, Major Jason Earl Van Dyke, callsign Dodger.

The Siren swarm would be met by a near-equal mass arrival of fighter jets from the elite Aurora Squadron, and the renowned Snake Squadron of the Glorious Greentails. Supported by air superiority, Watcher Alpha would successfully defend Skypark's waters from the mass Siren suicide attack, keeping the kamikaze vessels far away from surviving ships of the Skypark Naval force.

The sun sets yet again, with the Allies earning another small, but significant victory against the invasion. Though much more is very much expected to come in the future, the resolve of mankind against a treacherous enemy from beyond remains unshaken.

    Arbiter: The Empress
Why the hell do I have to deal with the impures, that's not even my job to deal with them. If anyone should, it's Tester, she's the one with an absurd amount of duplicates.
    Observer Zero
I did not ask for complaints, Empress. You will destroy the impures, end of discussion.

    Compiler
The impures have tangled with Zero, the leader. She will not take this lightly.

    Tester(s)
We shall see that they and their allies pay for this insult.

    Compiler
The impures are stronger then anticipated. Perhaps the Arbiters are needed here as well....
